Re: PGAL Check-In, Week of April 24
How far along are you?
26 weeks tomorrow.
How are you doing?
Great! I'm trying to wean off my Unisom because I'm exhausted. Go figure, without it, I have trouble falling asleep now. I'm having some nausea, but it seems manageable. So hopefully I don't have to start taking it again.
When is your next appointment?
Two weeks from Friday, afternoon drinking the lovely glucola drink!
Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes:
I'm headed out of town on Thursday. "Technically", it's for work. But it will also be a total girls trip with hiking, dinners out
GTKY: What's your favorite season and why?
Spring for sure. Just the temperature, the blooming, the colors, everything! I just wish it lasted longer around here.

How are you doing? Not too bad. Things are moving forward, and feeling more movement, but when I go a while without movement, I freak out! Thank god for the doppler.
When is your next appointment? Thursday, time for the glucose test.
Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: As I mentioned in the FTM thread, I got almost all of the nursery furniture this weekend with my family and started putting it all together. It is so strange having that room set up as a nursery, and not the junk room its been for almost a year.
GTKY: What's your favorite season and why? Summer, its warm. I hate cold weather, and I just want to be outside, so when summer comes, I spend almost every day outside.

How are you doing? Better recently now that I feel movement more regularly. I still use the Doppler regularly though too because I'm not thaaaaat sane
When is your next appointment? Thursday for a regular check up
Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: DH felt the baby kick from the outside this weekend! He was SO HAPPY! He's been waiting to feel something for so long that he literally sat and told our dog all about how amazing it was afterward haha
GTKY: What's your favorite season and why? Winter! I love cold and snow. I hate sweating and being hot haha

How far along are you?
24+1
How are you doing?
Holy heartburn. Every day. Every meal.
When is your next appointment?
Wednesday 5/3 for glucose. Can't wait. Not.
Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes:
Rave! Target has a rug sale so I scored 2 rugs for our new house for less than $200. Stoked! We have two big dogs and hardwood and that just doesn't mix lol It's hard to shop for a house you don't live in yet though. I had to look up the floor plans online to make sure the rug would work.
GTKY: What's your favorite season and why?
Definitely spring or fall. These seasons last all of 1 week in Maryland before it's burning hot or freezing cold. Gotta enjoy them while you can.

How are you doing? Fine. Can't complain!
When is your next appointment? Just had my follow-up scan today to check on the clot at the edge of my placenta (it's gone!!). Have my 24 week? I guess? appointment next week at 23 weeks. I'm starting to rotate through all the drs in the practice to prepare me for if my primary ob is not working when I give birth.
Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: The movements are the best. But even though it's still early and movements are not really supposed to be counted, my PGAL brain kicks in when I don't feel anything for a while. Then I debate using the doppler *just* to check. I'm trying to kick the habit but it's so hard bc it's so convenient to use whenever I want.
GTKY: What's your favorite season and why?
25 weeks tomorrow.
How are you doing?
Pretty good. I'm amazed my back pain has been in check. I've been going to the Chiro this entire pregnancy and worked really hard with a physical therapist before I got pregnant so hoping it continues.
When is your next appointment?
Thursday for a regular check up. Did glucose last week.
Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes:
I finally posted a bump pick on Facebook and officially announced. With this being #3 for us I wasn't even going to post anything but I got all the warm and fuzzy feelings for this baby after I did. So I'm glad I did.
