Ugh, the heartburn is getting really bad. I made the mistake of eating lemon meringue pie yesterday and it almost killed me. I'm going to have to stash some Tums in my purse
@SouthernMama15 Zantac 150 twice a day is a LIFESAVER. I had heartburn so bad with my daughter I would sit up in our recliner at night and bawl. I take one around noon, and one right before bed. I use Tums, too, but they only work for a short time.
My feet and hands are swelling after long days. :-/ I'm trying to drink a lot of water to help. I didn't start swelling with my last two until I was around 35 weeks. This is going to be a looooong pregnancy.
Swelling feet, Acid reflux, low back seizing up some and my belly button has popped. The belly button might seem small, but now all my tighter shirts look ridiculous and it's oddly uncomfortable.

I feel like the extra weight is starting to get to me. I don't know how to describe it other than feeling more heaviness in my stomach. I've never had this much weight on me before, so I guess it's to be expected. Totally not complaining if it means baby's growing and doing well! I did have a killer headache yesterday. Hope that was just a one time thing.
Anyone else dealing with low blood pressure issues? I'm so thankful my pelvic and pubic bone pain has subsided a bit but this low blood pressure is so weird. My doctor suggested I balance carbs and sugars better with protein and drink more water. I'm making an effort to add a little salt in there too but I don't want to wind up getting swollen along with that. Doctor doesn't seem too concerned with my BP being low as long as I don't pass out.
@Kathryn0903 I only figured out it was low blood pressure because my pulse started feeling really strange about a month ago. It felt irregular and like it was beating really hard. I'd get a weird feeling in the back of my throat like my heart was up there. I think that's what they're more concerned that you monitor when you have low blood pressure--along with the fainting risk. I guess your body gets stressed and can try to overcompensate by your heart beating harder and faster. The main advice I was given was to be careful before standing (stretch out your legs to get blood flowing back to your upper body) and to drink more water as dehydration can make it worse. It is nowhere near as concerning as high blood pressure.
@AdvoCyndi30 I took something daily with DS when it got out of control, but I talked to my ob last week and she wants me to do Tums and see if they work first.
My right foot is annoying the crap out of me. The tendons on the bottom are so tight and I can't get them to relax no matter what.
@LSP87 I dealt with low blood pressure around week 20. The lowest reading I had was 92/59. It was scary because I would bend down to get a pan out of the cabinet and start seeing stars. I called my doctor and she was not concerned- saying it can happen with the increased blood flow and to stay hydrated and take things slow (no quick up and downs). I am happy to report it only lasted for a couple of days and now I think my body has readjusted. The feeling can be very scary- so hopefully your BP increases soon!
My lovely weekly symptoms are increased discharge and a stuffy nose that just won't quit.
I'm sick for the fourth time this pregnancy and feel like shit today. I think the GD test from this morning isn't helping. Heartburn is back and sporadic. I'm not wanting to take meds if I can help it so been fighting through this time. After doing so much work outside, my crotch has been hurting. Nothing major but just some slight pains/soreness.

My back is killing me! Has been for the past two days. Heating pad, warm baths, and Tylenol help. I'm also dealing with a massive headache today. It didn't help that I had a dentist appointment. In fact between me, DH, and the boys, we were at the dentist for 3 & 1/2 hours. It was torture.
@smallbutmighty77 Last year, my friend put a band aid on her "popped" belly button because hers got irritated and she hated the way it looked in her tighter clothes. Maybe that will help give you some comfort?
@Leni410 mine hurts mostly on the right side, like super bad, but in general my belly feels different the last two days. It's heavier and just kinda uncomfortable
@leni40 I have a constant range of stomach pains as well. Frequently it is the area above my uterus so I'm guessing that's stomach/intestine related. When I'm dehydrated or have been on my feet too much it is on the underside of my belly. When I bend or sit up the wrong way I feel sharp stabbing tendon pains on my sides.
I had had all of these symptoms with my second, so they don't phase me too much, but holy Braxton hicks with #3. I legit was having to breathe through some last Thursday work, but luckily they went away after a while. I am a little nervous because with my second i didn't think i was having real contractions until holy crap here's the head on the way home from work in the car so clearly I know nothing.
Oh yeah, the stomach pain. I think I'm getting it from stretching/growing. Funny thing is, I'd massage what hurt and it would feel better, and then Baby would kick around. Guess I was bothering her, haha.
I mentioned this somewhere else but when should I worry about having headaches? I've started to have bad headaches, but blood pressure is fine and no other real issues. I don't have another appointment for 3 weeks. Is there a point where I should call if it gets bad? Totally trying to keep alert on any symptoms I may have in the meantime though.
@Kathryn0903 It can't hurt to call your OB/midwife and be seen just to make sure it isn't anything worrisome. I am glad your blood pressure is ok, but I would at least call and see what he or she says about it. I know a lot of women are more likely to experience headaches or worsening of their usual headache symptoms due to a variety of non-dangerous pregnancy-related causes like dehydration, hormonal changes affecting migraines, etc.
I had a routine cleaning at the dentist today that turned into a damn torture session. My gums and teeth get so inflamed and irritated when I'm pregnant so she did a gum rinse to flush out bacteria. This was SO uncomfortable and I left with blood stained teeth. My gums are still throbbing 4 hours later.

I had a cleaning on Monday, and my gums are still sore. They give me problems every time I'm pregnant. I feel for you!
@Kathryn0903 Keep a log of your headaches- when they start, intensity, any recent foods around the time they start, light/noise sensitivity. It will give you a little more info to give your OB and might help to identify the cause.
@donehue I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one having some crazy Braxton Hicks! These are legit! Baby #3 for me as well. Didn't have these until week 30 or so with the other two. I find myself holding my breath while having them.
Symptom- Baby officially has replaced my stomach. I have to eat smaller meals or just snack. Yesterday at lunch I had just oatmeal, yogurt, and cheese and felt like I was going to burst. For dinner, just had a can of Chef Boyardee and felt like I was going to burst, then had heartburn. Hopefully she makes room for the deep dish pizza we're having with friends tonight.
Sleeping is no longer my favorite thing to do...can't get comfy enough at night so I feel like I'm losing sleep. Had a sharp pain near my belly button and it definitely wasn't a growing pain - I found out I was constipated Currently trying to fight off an upper respiratory infection.
@DeansGirl14 I love when people ask me how it is eating for two. I like to say, this baby takes up too much room for me to eat for one, let alone two! Small meals it is!

@erindippity I got my rings sized up I think half a size right before BFP. Sometimes they're loose, sometimes I can barely get them off. I got a fake band for cheap last time, but now I'm thinking about getting one of the stackable silicone rings. Qualo has some cute stackable ones
@DeansGirl14@smallbutmighty77 Same. My appetite has plummeted these past weeks and when I do get hungry I can only eat a small amount before feeling crazy full. I think it's a combo of baby taking up room and all the water I've been drinking.

Recently I have noticed my heart skipping beats. I read heart palpitations are normal during pregnancy but still freaks me out. When I'm falling asleep, it can feel like my heart is stopping. But that also could be anxiety related.
@brookedeyo That's been happening to me for a long time, but has increased since becoming pregnant. I actually had a heart monitor put on for 24 hours literally the day before I found out I was pregnant. Everything came back normal but I'm not sure the monitor actually caught any of the skipping beats that I've experienced. Doctor isn't concerned though. I know it's stressful when you get them, but for me it's just been my "normal" for a long time. Hopefully for you they stop after baby comes!
