    Just ate a piece of cake and it's not even 11, not very juicy but it's definitely something I'm ashamed of!

    I haven't eaten it yet, but I did bring the candy that DH and I were given in Miles's Easter basket from my parents to work today and I don't plan on saving any to bring home to him. They didn't give us much and he doesn't really eat a lot of candy anyway....   ;)

    I usually eat all the candy as well since my husband doesn't have much of a sweet tooth...though he will complain if I don't at least leave him a piece or two. My morning snack was Easter chocolate.

    I have a load of laundry in my dryer that has been sitting there clean for two days.  There is also a stack of folded clean clothes on to of the dryer that haven't made it upstairs yet. This is pretty much the norm for me.

    The only reason I'm cleaning my house today is because my husband is throwing a Mario kart party tonight that he apparently invited 40 people too!!! That is not my confession though. Secretly I hope the weather goes completely shitty and if anyone comes it's just a few people. It is already 47 degrees windy and rainy so I may get my wish. His plan is to project everything on the side of the house. I should have never married a social butterfly lol.

    Here's another: we were supposed to go camping in Shenandoah National Park this weekend but I think we're going to cancel since it's raining there all weekend. I'm bummed because I was really looking forward to our trip, but I'm also pretty relieved to not have to pack up a weekend worth of baby stuff to take with us. Especially since we have to do it next weekend for a wedding we're traveling to.

    I think I'm bitter about something this week, because I have another one. Everyone here has fairly normal kid names, so I feel ok saying this: wtf is with the names some people are giving their kids lately?! Recently friends and acquaintenaces have named their boys Cash, Cannon, Brixton, Maverick (two pilots friends) and Ranger (two Marines acquaintenances).

    My husband is out of town and so far I've feed my boys burgers last night and pizza tonight. I'm glad to have a break from making big meals. 

    Edited to say I made the burgers last night but picked up pizza tonight.
