I need to back away from the sweets. Everything sweet is so temping now. We had an awards dinner tonight and I'm hoping for an amazing dessert. Especially since I can't enjoy the cocktail hour prior.

I had a really healthy lunch today. A kale, carrot, and cranberry salad with walnuts. I could totally go for some nachos right now (with all the jalapeños)!
So I unabashedly love sardines even though I think they are kinda gross at the same time. I found a great sardine spread recipe that doesn't include any of my heartburn triggers that I've been eating for lunch this week.

@Mango517 DH loveees sardines. He toasts slices of baguette and lays them on top haha. Doesn't appeal to me, but when people like them, they love them it seems!
I too need to step away from the Easter candy. In my first tri I had aversions to sugary things and I seriously wish I had this whole pregnancy.
Right now I am obsessed with Jimmy John's veggie sub with or without bacon. I still get my sub fix without fear of contracting listeria from lunch meat. #FTMproblems

I've been sick the past 3 days with an upper respiratory infection and I can't taste my food lately. I know I've had chicken noodle soup but I can't tell you how it tasted lol. Had a lunch meeting today and they had sandwiches, ate it and I couldn't even taste the mustard. So soup and more soup these past few days.
I finally had a chicken fried steak yesterday which I've been craving since December. It was OK but not what I really wanted. I have craved the chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes they served when I was in grade school.
I'm normally not much for fast food, especially fried. I've had Arbys two days in a row now and I feel guilty. I like the Rueben and curly fries. I've also been craving roasted carrots. Bought some but haven't made them yet
The past 2 nights I have had smoothies for dinner- Vanilla almond milk, strawberries, blueberries, banana, ice. SO good. helps with the heartburn, is delicious, and since I don't get home from work til almost 7, it is quick, easy and good!
