pregnancy GTKY: now that we are around or approaching the half way mark, how has time been going for you? Slow until 13 weeks then fast from 14-17.

NBR GTKY: what is your ideal weather? I'm from Canada, so my ideal weather is 25-28dC (77-82dF) without humidity. Rare, but lovely.

How far along are you? 19+6

When is your next appointment? Monday and Tuesday! Mon is midwife appt, Tues is the anatomy scan!!!

Cravings/Symptoms? No specific cravings right now. And I feel great this week.

Rants/Raves/Randoms? I'm really excited for the anatomy scan on Tuesday. Mostly excited to see the baby again, it has been moving allll the time the last few days. But we're going to find out the sex of the baby, too, so it will be fun!

pregnancy GTKY: now that we are around or approaching the half way mark, how has time been going for you? Faster, now that I don't feel like puking 95% of the time. I'm down to about 5%, which is a major win. My stomach has really popped in the last week or so, and that makes it all the more real.

NBR GTKY: what is your ideal weather? About 75F and mostly sunny. Slightly cooler if I'm planning on hiking, but still sunny!

Soooo fast with DS pregnancy lasted forever. I think since this is our last it's just breezing by!

When is your next appointment? First week of May for a/s

Cravings/Symptoms? cramping and mid-back ache today.

Rants/Raves/Randoms? We found fleas on our indoor cats last night. And our cat Ruby burrowed a hole in the bottom of the couch so she can sleep inside it. So now the whole couch probably has fleas. DH is freaking out. Also, our washing machine is on the outs. Ugh.

Cravings/Symptoms? Gas, bloating, constipation holy moly. Acne. I feel bubbles popping now where I know her feet are

Rants/Raves/Randoms? My blood sugars are getting so hard to control. Anything I eat makes it spike. I come back down after more insulin, but I just cannot beat it from the get go.

Questions? How are you going about registering for items you don't even know you need?

When is your next appointment? We're having an elective ultrasound next Saturday, next OB appt is mid-May

Cravings/Symptoms? Fruit bars/popsicles or ice cream sandwiches. Agree with @ColoradoHiker, 95% of the time I'm good, but I still feel like a sack of shit 5% of the time. Today is one of those days.

Rants/Raves/Randoms? RANT: We had a pretty lame anatomy scan on Tuesday. The ultrasound tech had the screen away from us for the first 40 minutes then gave us like 5 minutes of viewing time with our little bean. We didn't even get the between the leg shot to confirm gender! (She did confirm it was a boy, just didn't show us.) Womp womp. We schedule an elective ultrasound at a prenatal ultrasound facility. I need more time with my little babe! RAVE: It was really cool to watch the little guy move on screen and to be able to feel some of it at the same time. SO. COOL.

YAY for all the A/Ss coming up! Fingers crossed they all go wonderfully!

@Sugargirl1019 Can I ask what a fetal echo is and why you are having it? I have learned that I am completely naive on a lot of this testing stuff. I was recently blindsided by the results of a test I didn't even know I was having. Just trying to know what to expect and or ask for at this point.

Cravings/Symptoms? Pizza (and all things related) is still my jam.

Rants/Raves/Randoms? Raves: After our scary results from the AFP test, our Panorama results came back today and everything looks good. I want to call the MW and have her tell me again because it feels like a dream. Rants: AC in the car is still out. Mostly my fault but after the results of the AFP last week I didn't even care and all I could think about was the baby. So maybe that will get done sometime soon.

@dogdisnylovr A fetal echo (echocardiogram) is a really detailed ultrasound of just baby's heart! They can look in depth at each chamber and view any holes, great vessel development. I am only getting it done per protocol for a Type 1 DM. Apparently we are at higher risk for congenital heart defects.

@BigBadWolf12 I think my experience is the exception! I hope everyone else's A/S is awesome and is lots of up close time with their little ones.
