Infertility

New Here! (Child Mentioned)

Hello everyone!

I'm a 23 and I have a 7 year old who was delivered via csection.

I've been attempted to get pregnant for 3 years, I have thin pcos and was just placed on 1000mg of Metformin on 3rd of April since my uterine lining is too thin to concieve and my periods are irregular.

I'm supposed to begin Clomid in 3 months from now but was wondering if it's possible to talk with my doctor and begin it sooner?

  • Hello! I'm so sorry that you are here but know you aren't alone. I've been going through treatments for almost 3 years now (IUI and IVF) but haven't been successful. I too have thin PCOS and thin lining and just started metformin about 2 weeks ago. My Re said it can take up to three months to see results on it regarding the lining. I would talk with your doctor to see their thoughts behind the timeline and maybe compromise if your cycles become regular sooner, push the IUI up?

  • Hi! I'm sorry you are too! It's really difficult sometimes and I don't know how to just relax and let my mind stop thinking about it constantly. That's what mine said as well, have you been feeling alright on it? The side effects ended up going away just as quickly as they came for me
