Let's play a game called "What's your most embarrassing misheard lyric?"

I'll go first:

I was just listening to Can't Slow Down by Hedley and I could have sworn he said "shake your little wrist bone" and assumed she was telling him to go eff himself. What is he actually saying? Jake you're a little bit stoned.

    Oooh speaking of other people butchering lyrics... My friend's cousin thought Lady Gaga was saying, "Bon Jovi romance" instead of "want your bad romance." I think of that every time I hear that song.

    @labgrand2012, as a fellow wisconsinite (hi @LaurenEG14), I love the cheese curd lyrics (also that song). And I almost posted the same thing about the Kay commercial, because it took me until I was about 18 until I realized it too (and also got a good laughing at)

    Can I do a sort of reverse? Lyrics that sound like misheard lyrics? From Nirvana's Smells Like Teen Spirit:

    Not sure what I hear every time, but until I heard a cover of this song where the verses were in French, I didn't think this is what they were saying...

    I seriously cannot control my laughter with this thread. And I'm at work. In cube-land.

    me and DH ALWAYS sing it this way:

    my children STILL think it's "... you can call me green bean"

    Not misheard lyrics... but my car shows the radio data on the display, like song Artist and Title. I constantly misread Lady Gaga's Applause as "applesauce"... and then had to make up my own version that gets sung every time I dish up applesauce with supper.
