Are you guys getting swimming suits this summer?

My mother in law is a travel agent and gets hotel rooms for super cheap. So during the summer we go swimming around 4 or 5 times a month. I'm due in August so I'll be pretty large when its swimming time. Do you guys plan on getting swimming suits? I can't decide if I really want one. I was at Motherhood Maternity and they have some cute ones but I'm trying to decide if I really need one. What are your guys plans for the summer?

I'm due July 20th so I don't think so. I don't really have a pool that I go to though. After delivery I probably won't want to depending on how I look:-(

I'm due Aug 29, so yeah, I am definitely getting one. But I will wait until closer to the summer to buy it so that I buy one that fits well. I swim now at the Y and had to go out and get a bathing suit that is like the long tank top kind since I look like a fatty in my speedo 2 piece and the one piece is uncomfortable due to the bloat.

I was just thinking about this today. I have no idea. I hope I'd be okay to wear a bikini, but I have a feeling I will look ridiculous. I guess I will wait and see what to do. I'm not planning on missing out on swimming or beach time, though.

Yes! It gets so hot here in the summer and I'm a total river rat! Pluse I will be working 4 tens so i will have three days off and whats a better way to relax then lounging by a cool river!!

DH and I were just talking about this. We spend most wkends during the summer at my ILs lakehouse. They have a pool and DH was saying how good the exercise will be. I was thinking- I won't want to get in a swimsuit in front of everyone! But we'll see what I can find.

I definetly will, my best friend has a pool and in due sept - i knooooww ill be scorching if im not in the water haha so yes i will be in there...wether it will be a cover up or a two piece i dont kno, that depends on the size of my belly and stretch marks! Tongue Tied

I have one from my last pregnancy that may work...I'll wait until we get closer and if it fits, then I'll stick with it. If not, I'll be so huge I may not want to get in a swimsuit!

Living in SoCal and being due in August I will have to buy a swimsuit. Plus, I really want to take a water aerobics class to help stay in shape and relieve some of the pressure off my belly the farther I progress.?

I saw the cutest pregnant woman lat the lake last year & she was wearing a 2 piece so I am hoping to look that good & if I do I will be getting one this year!

I know I'm going to get one. Here summer is humid and hot, and I'm not due until September. Plus we also do a lot of camping trips over the summer...so I will need a suit

I'd like to swim but am due july 25. just depends on how brave I feel - it would be at a public pool.

I am. I'm due in August and it gets hot here, I know I'm going to want to go swimming. And frankly, I don't feel like a pg belly is anything to be ashamed of so if people don't want to see me in a swimsuit they can look the other way.

I'm due in August also, and from what other moms have told me, if I don't stay in the pool I will be miserable!! I'm going to buy a suit as soon as it gets a little warm!

Yes, I'm swimming as my main form of exercise. I'll definitely need something when my belly starts to expand.

It depends. I don't think I can judge how I'll feel or look by that point. I'm going to wait until June before I buy anything.

I had my son in August 2 years ago and I am due in August again this time around. I bought a maternity tankini from Old Navy- It lasted me all summer. It was big in the belly at the start of the summer than tight and short at the end - hahaha

I am due July 29th and it gets damn hot here so I will be finding something. We have a pool at our house so when its just me and DH I may wear a bikini and on the weekends when friends and family are over I will need a tankini.

When my sister was pg she lived in the pool because she said it took all of the weight and pressure off and it was really relaxing. And since it gets to be 110 degrees here in the summer I will need to cool off.
