My 18M old DS is constantly leaking through his diaper at night! We have went to a bigger size and he is still doing it! I was wondering if a pull up is more absobent if we could try that. Any ideas?

Re: Leaking through diaper help!

  • Probably stupid question, but do you use overnight diapers? My 16 month DS has to wear those and sometimes he still leaks. I think it just happens.

  • Does DS sleep on his stomach? You can try pulling them up a bit in the front if it is leaking there. Size up over night diapers work well here....not sure about pull ups.

  • Pull ups are worse. Don't go that route.
  • We've found that Honest overnights, pulled up a little higher in the front is the only thing that keeps DD from leaking.

  • @vvitchhazel we use Honest Co too! Love them! We don't have really any leaking issues with them unless it is time to move up a size.

  • Pampers triple protection overnight helped us with this problem for DS1

  • What brand do you use? I found that some brands work better for one kid than they do for another... all 3 of my girls wore different brands.

Kids also do so much growing the first two years, what might work for them in the beginning won't always work for them as they get older.
  • He is a stomach sleeper which is part of the problem! Pampers over night didn't seem to help and huggies made him really r
  • With my first we ended up putting her in two diapers at night. We put one on higher up in the back then the second one higher in the front.. if that makes any sense. She was a stomach sleeper, too, and it really seemed to help.

My boys go 12 hours at night and pee a ton and sleep on their stomachs. Pampers Baby Dry were the best for us!

  • We love the target brand overnights in a size up.
