Chart Stalk & Questions Thread Week of 4/17

This is a thread where anyone can feel free to request a chart stalk, second-guess FF's interpretation, or post TTC-related questions, regardless of where in your cycle you are. Sometimes FF is wrong. That's where we come in. Get your second opinion here.

    Okay ladies--FF initially gave me CH for CD13 and then a few days later gave me CH for CD15. I've O'd on CD15 for the last three cycles but I thought that CD13 or even CD14 might be more accurate because of CM. Not that it even really matters much, but I just want to have as much accurate data as possible when we see the RE next month. What do you ladies think?

    TTC #2 since January 2016
    June-Aug 2017: 3 IUIs w/Clomid = BFN
    Sept 2017: Dx w/Endometriosis
    Oct 2017: IUI w/Letrozole = BFN
    Nov 2017: IUI w/Letrozole = BFN
    Dec 2017: pre-IVF testing
    Jan-Feb 2018: IVF--17 eggs retrieved, 13 fertilized, 9 frozen and 1 transferred on 2/10 = BFP on 2/19!!! EDD 10/29/2018
    FET Oct 2021: BFP on 10/31! MC at 5 weeks
    FET Feb 2022: BFP on 2/15! EDD 10/29/22

    @shortstack930 Based on CM I would agree with you on CD14 but based on temps I would say CD15.  

    Do you check CM throughout the day or just one time at the same time every day?  I've noticed that mine can change throughout the day from fertile to non-fertile and in a case like that, you want to note the most fertile CM for any given day

    @lulu1180 I check throughout the day and record the most fertile that I see. That's why I was surprised I didn't have any fertile CM on CD15 if it was O day. I "usually" switch to non-fertile CM the day after O.

    In that case @shortstack930 I would lean heavily toward CD14

    Would you agree with FF that I Od on CD49?? 

    Disclaimer: I SUCKED at temping this cycle due to me getting the flu and a toddler who has decided to start sleeping like a newborn 

    ugh and I can't get my chart to attach... I spotted CD 26 and tested with cheapies from CD35-40 all BFN. I've been waiting for AF but then got Ewcm and a positive opk CD47 and 48. So confused.

    Talk to me about OPKs real quick. Is it like a hpt where a faint TL means it's positive or do the TL and CL have to be equal? I had a faint TL this morning and then just now totally negative. Did I miss O? FF says I'm in my fertile window...

    @mschanandlerbong1214, No, lines on OPKs have to be as dark or darker than the control line to be considered positive. Have you been charting a while? FF just assumes a 28 day cycle with o on day 14 until you have a cycle or two to work from. You may have missed it, or your LH surge measured by the OPK hasn't happened yet. Time of day of testing also factors in, but depends on the brand (see manufacturer's recommendations).
