What are your Easter traditions (if any)?  we do Easter basket hunts the morning of Easter. We were always told the Easter bunny hides the baskets too. I didn't know this wasn't something everyone *did until DH was like wtf are you taking about.

What is your favorite Easter candy? Caramel filled eggs. The really, really rich ones.

Bonus questions: How do you eat a reese cup? How do you eat an Oreo? reeses cups: I eat the chocolate edge off all around then I eat the peanut butter circle that's left.
Oreos: peel apart, lick off filling then eat the cookie. If milk is involved same thing but I dunk the cookie.

  • What are your Easter traditions (if any)?
We usually do a brunch with an egg hunt for the kids. The kids get Easter baskets. I used to go to Sunrise church services as a kid, but haven't been since before middle school. I have also always had to work almost every holiday, since I started working in high school. But I'm looking forward to all the traditions DH and I want to start with DD (for all holidays).

What is your favorite Easter candy?
Peeps that are used to make Rice Krispie treats

Bonus questions: How do you eat a reese cup? How do you eat an Oreo?

I bite into both. But I much prefer to dunk Oreos into milk and eat it whole.
  • What are your Easter traditions (if any)?
Despite being raised Catholic, I'm not religious and neither is my husband so Easter just revolves around the secular traditions for us. Dying eggs, Easter bunny leaving a basket with goodies and an Easter egg hunt. Usually do a brunch or early dinner with my parents and Grandparents. My DHs family are more religious and generally spend most of the day at Church so we usually don't see them on Easter

What is your favorite Easter candy?
    Reeses eggs

Bonus questions: How do you eat a reese cup? How do you eat an Oreo?
Usually I just bite into Reese's but occasionally I pop the center out and eat it, then finish off with the edge. Oreos have to be dunked on milk, enough to just soften them a little without getting them soggy!
  • @Nxy I read the responses after I typed mine out, but your description of eating an Oreo actually matched mine to a T!

What are your Easter traditions (if any)?
As a kid it was doing an easter egg hunt and going to church. We are going to figure out our own tradition at some point, which will probably be similar. I've worked many of the last Easter's so that has changed things a bit
What is your favorite Easter candy?
Mini-cadberry eggs. I could eat them by the bagful.
Bonus questions: How do you eat a reese cup? How do you eat an Oreo?
I eat a reese cup in bites without taking it apart. For an Oreo, I separate it and at the plain one side first and then the side with the filling on it. Now I want an Oreo....

  • What are your Easter traditions (if any)?
Family time. We take turns between DH's side and mine. I always loved dying eggs as a kid. DS was big enough to hunt eggs this year and it was precious
What is your favorite Easter candy?
    Reeses eggs and peeps

Bonus questions: How do you eat a reese cup? How do you eat an Oreo?
I shove the whole thing in my mouth. Used to pull oreos apart and eat the icing first, now that I have a toddler, any treat usually involves me hiding my head in the pantry.

  • What are your Easter traditions (if any)?
We go to church, we also used to go to a sunrise service, but haven't in years. We would get Easter baskets when we were kids.  After that we would go out to brunch somewhere. It is usually cold (though not this year) so outside stuff was never an option.
What is your favorite Easter candy?
Reese's eggs. I think I might like them better than regular Reese's
Bonus questions: How do you eat a reese cup? How do you eat an Oreo?
I eat a Reese's by taking one good bite and then enjoying a few more bites. Nothing too special. For Oreos, I either eat them with peanut butter, or if I have milk, I dunk until mushy and then eat it. Its sooo good.

  • I have a follow up question after I watched a video on Easter Candy facts. Do you prefer your chocolate bunny to be solid or hollow?
  • I haven't had Easter traditions since I was a kid. I plan on doing baskets and egg hunts when my LO is old enough. I'm sure grandparents will spoil this one every year, too.

Mini Cadbury eggs are my fave! The solid chocolate, hard shell kind. I had a butterfinger  egg for the first time this year and it was pretty bomb, too. Beats reeses eggs, I gotta say.

I nibble reeses cups. I bite oreos if they are single-stuffed, I twist open double-stuf so I can throw the filling away.
  • What are your Easter traditions (if any)?

Easter is actually my favorite holiday (because of the meaning)! Growing up it was Easter baskets, then church, then egg hunt and lunch. Now it's just church and egg hunt with our friends who have kiddos. (Although I usually join in because I love egg hunts!)

What is your favorite Easter candy?

    Reese's eggs, hands down.

Bonus questions: How do you eat a reese cup? How do you eat an Oreo?

Reese's cup: two bites, in half
Oreo: dunk in milk until soggy, it's the only way I eat them!
  • What are your Easter traditions (if any)?
Easter is a big holiday in my family even though other then my grandmother no one is very religious.  I normally describe it as a second Thanksgiving with a big dinner and then an Easter Egg hunt after.  Everyone gets a big chocolate bunny from See's Candy with their name on it.  Spouses always try and hide each others really hard so it makes for a fun search.

What is your favorite Easter candy?
The mini Candburry eggs just like @dinofreak

Bonus questions: How do you eat a reese cup? How do you eat an Oreo?
Reese I eat in bites.  Oreos I twist apart and eat the chocolate half first, but I can't even remember the last time I had one.

  • What are your Easter traditions (if any)? We always go to church and make a big brunch.
I grew up with over 20 cousins on one side and 8 on the other so we always had a huge get together with food and an egg hunt. Feels so lonely now that my LO is the oldest on both sides and no cousins around.
What is your favorite Easter candy? I don't really have one. I'm not a huge candy person.

Bonus questions: How do you eat a reese cup? How do you eat an Oreo? Rarely eat either but I'm boring and just eat them normally lol
  • What are your Easter traditions (if any)?
Every year since I was litte on Easter Saturday my Aunt would fill a crazy amount of Easter eggs and we have a big Easter egg hunt and dinner at her house. It's grown over the years and now it's a bit on the crazy side. I have a huge family but this year there was 15,000 Easter eggs at our family Easter egg hunt. It's a blast. After that we have a relaxed Easter Sunday with immediate family.

What is your favorite Easter candy?
    Reese Eggs and Tootie Fruities

Bonus questions: How do you eat a reese cup? How do you eat an Oreo?
I eat the edge of a reese and then the middle. And I just bite in to Oreos, nothing special.
  • What are your Easter traditions (if any)?

We leave out. Akers for the Easter bunny to fill. We get the kids a movie every year, and a stuffed animal. We try to go lighter on the candy, since they get a TON of that with the egg hunts.

What is your favorite Easter candy?

    Reese's eggs! Oh man.

Bonus questions: How do you eat a reese cup? How do you eat an Oreo?

Reese's, chocolate from the side first, then peanut butter.

Oreo's, if my daughter is around, she'll eat the filling and I'll eat the cookie. If not, I have to have a big glass of milk, and I dunk the whole thing. I really don't care for the filling. I HATE the double-stuffed. I wish they had a 1/2 filled. Lol! I'm the weirdo who prefers cakes without frosting, too...
  • What are your Easter Traditions (if any)? Easter is the biggest holiday on my family. As a Christian, Easter is a lot less about eggs and bunnies and more about the significance of what this day represents for us. Easter for my family is celebrated because of Jesus' resurrection. His death and the resurrection 3 days later was the ultimate sacrifice and the greatest gift from God. Because of this, we (anyone and everyone) is able to graciously be given the gift of eternal life! I'm humbled and more deeply thankful than you can imagine to have a personal relationship with God. We do get baskets from the Easter bunny, go to church and then both sides of the family all get together celebrate and enjoy the day! So much food and fellowship. I love Easter the most!

What is your favorite Easter candy?

I love those robin eggs and the "hiding eggs" not exactly sure what they are but they are crunchy on the outside and hollow on the inside (all different colors, but the same flavor).

Bonus questions How do you eat a Reese cup? Ho you eat an Oreo?

No special way just bite into both normally. My kids however always eat the cream of the oreo first just like their dad!

  • @AdvoCyndi30
They Have Oreo thins! Which are basically the cookies with a super duper thin layer of cream. You'd like those if you don't like the filling
  • What are your Easter traditions (if any)? I love Easter!  I refuse to travel for Easter as I want to be at my church. We go to the 8:00 am church service, followed by Easter breakfast there (youth group cooks eggs/pancakes and adults bring the sweets). Then we get home and DH smokes a Maple Bourbon Ham (best ham ever) on our Big Green Egg and I make the sides for dinner. We did get a basket of items for DD this year now that she's a little older. Last year we did an Easter egg hunt but not this year due to schedules.

What is your favorite Easter candy? Cadbury Caramel Eggs

Bonus questions: How do you eat a reese cup? How do you eat an Oreo? Reese, in a few bites or as fast as possible if DD is nearby.
Oreos, depends...if with peanut butter, I dip them straight in the jar whole and scoop up the pb. If not with pb, I twist apart, lick off the filling, and pop the cookie in my mouth.

  • What are your Easter traditions (if any)?
I'm Jewish, so I don't really celebrate Easter and DH never does anything. Despite the fact that my kid will be raised Jewish, I want to have him experience some non religious aspects of Easter - Easter egg hunt, Easter basket.

What is your favorite Easter candy?
    Mini eggs and Peeps!

Bonus questions: How do you eat a reese cup? How do you eat an Oreo?
Don't like Reese's! Oreos just eat normally.

We celebrate with FIL either on Palm Sunday or Easter depending on everyone's schedules.  The kids do an egg hunt with DH's family.

What is your favorite Easter candy?
I love Reese's anything, but the eggs are probably my favorite.

Bonus questions: How do you eat a reese cup? How do you eat an Oreo?
I eat the outside first and then the middle of the peanut butter cup.  I haven't eaten Oreos in ages, but I eat them normally.

What are your Easter traditions (if any)?  We do Easter baskets in the morning and an egg hunt at home or at the grandparent's house sometime after that.

What is your favorite Easter candy? Anything with salty caramel.

Bonus questions: How do you eat a reese cup? How do you eat an Oreo? Reeses Cups: as quickly as possible.
Oreos: peel, bite each side. I like to wash it down with a little milk but don't usually dunk.
  • What are your Easter traditions (if any)? None on my side; now I join DH's family for lots and lots of eating. I was alllll about the dessert buffet. Kept missing the cheesecake though. Every time I scouted the area the cheesecake tray was empty.

What is your favorite Easter candy? Chocolate bunnies and Cadbury creme eggs.

Bonus questions: How do you eat a reese cup? How do you eat an Oreo? Reese- depending on the size, just eat it in regular bites. Oreos- sometimes I separate the sides and eat the icing first!

Saturday we have Passover with my family

What is your favorite Easter candy?
    Starburst Jelly Beans

Bonus questions: How do you eat a reese cup? How do you eat an Oreo?
Reese cup gets eaten in two bites. I only like the mint and red velvet special edition of Oreos and those get dunked in milk. I average about a glass of milk per two cookies.
