We had the AS yesterday morning and confirmed B/G twins. Everything looked good to my untrained eye, but I'll have to wait for my next OB appointment to know for sure.
@Kathryn0903 will your lab allow you to pick up the drink in advance to refrigerate and drink from home before you head in? From my experience, the one hour test was easy, it was the three hour that made me want to toss my cookies and pass out at the same time.
Taking my one hour test right now. I'm not sure about drinking the drink from home? They had me drink the drink within five minutes and then the hour began once I finished it.
I fully expect to have GD again. I wish we just skipped right to the three hour test. Last time I was dx, I remember crying my eyes out lol but you quickly get used to managing it. I will be okay this time if I have it again.
They gave me mine at the appointment before my glucose test. I refrigerated it, then drank it. I signed in and went directly to the lab. I timed it so it would be an hour.
Had an ultrasound and they said my placenta is low and I have to take all of these precautions and may have to have a C section if it doesn't move. I go back in 6 weeks. Does anyone else have this?
@Kaityrj I had it with my first and a month later it had moved up. Wound up having a c section since he was breech . It's low again this time, I had an ultrasound 2 weeks after the anatomy scan and it was still low. My sister's was low but it moved and she had a smooth vaginal delivery
They have officially diagnosed me with placenta previa today . It had moved some, but not enough. It's not a huge deal as I'll have an RCS, but she said we'll do an ultrasound every 4 weeks just to make sure I don't need to take any precautions. I'll also have my glucose test next time
I had my A/S on Monday. It was surreal to see a baby on the screen. He was mostly really cooperative (for the love of all things please let that continue once he's on the outside) and we got all the pictures we needed. He's measuring a day ahead of schedule and was 12oz. at 20w. There was a minute where his little profile was on the screen and it was just so sweet and adorable that I starting tearing up a bit.

Clearly we like to rush along at lightning speed...
I had a fetal echo this morning- baby's heart looked fine, heart rate was high in the doctors opinion. Around 162- I didn't think that was abnormal range but he wants me to see my OB in a week and come back for a followup in a month.
I have my A/S Friday and I am all kinds of nervous. This is my third pregnancy and the A/S always has made me so nervous. Hoping to get good news and not placenta previa since doctor thought it could be last appointment. Not opposed to c- sections just haven't ever experienced that with my other two births so it's just fear of the unknown. Also healthy baby is most important. Just weird this time since I haven't really felt much movement this time.
We had our AS this morning, and we're having a boy and a girl! Both babies looked great and it was so cool to see the chambers of the heart and everything.
They weight 14 and 15 ounces! And they're totally not where I thought they were.
Had my glucose test. Have to wait for results, but hoping everything is good. Otherwise had a regular appointment to hear heartbeat and get measured. Everything looks good and I'm measuring on track. How many ultrasounds is normal during pregnancy? I guess I get another one at my 28 week appointment and wasn't expecting that.
Had my AS today. I'm having twins, which we knew, a boy and a girl. All the structures looked good but the babies are small: girl twin is only 6th percentile size wise and the boy is 11th. My doctor isn't concerned *yet* but I have to go back for a follow up ultrasound in a couple weeks and I'm pretty freaked out now. Did a bunch of googling and really shouldn't have. Ugh.
