Hello and Happy Wednesday!
As always we are here to chat about anything and everything plus size whether it's pregnancy related or not. Please share your HDBD picture on the main thread as all bodies are beautiful-especially when growing brand new babies. However, if you are not comfortable on the main thread we are happy to celebrate your growing bump here.

GTKY: Not sure if this one has already been done on other threads, and it is a little self serving, BUT what netflix show are you binge watching these days?
Re: Plus Size 4/12
I took my hdbd picture this morning and was like Woah!. It caught me off guard with how much he's grown over the last month or so. Went up another pound on the scale today but DH's birthday was yesterday-which for us kind of turns into an all week celebration. So I'm going to try not to beat myself up too much.
When I had my anatomy scan at 18w2d they said Baby measured at 9oz and his growth was beautiful. But according to all my apps it looks like 6.7oz is the average at that time. So now I'm wondering if his growth might even out or if I've got a big boy on my hands. I know it's too early to worry about these things because we just don't know yet, but it's got me a little concerned about having to do a c-section where I'd really like to go as natural as possible. Anyone have experience with previous LOs where they were measuring big early?

I have been watching 13 Reasons Why and I just don't know how I feel about it. I know everyone thinks it's amazing, but so far all I am seeing is a lot of blaming and not a whole lot of solution. It's making me kind of irritated because mental health, especially in the vulnerable teenage years is very prevalent, and I want there to be more of a message of how to get help rather than "don't bully people". Maybe it improves on that aspect? I'm only halfway through.

I haven't been able to be on TB as much lately as I've been super busy at work and that's when I usually get on. I've been missing it and I'm trying to catch up.
I had a 1-hour glucose test on Tuesday. Waiting to hear back about the results. There were 2 other girls in there that failed their 1-hour test and had to take a 3-hour test. When I first saw them I assumed they were maybe 6 months pregnant. After conversing with them, they are only 1 week ahead of me. And just looking at the HDBD thread, it reminded me of how everyone looks so different at different stages. If I didn't tell anyone no one would be able to tell I'm pregnant, just looks like I gained a little weight. Impatiently waiting for this bump to pop.
Anatomy scan is scheduled for the first week of May. Super excited to see baby again, but super nervous at the same time. We are currently still Team Green but that is starting to waver, and I'm thinking of finding out.
In unrelated news, the AC in my car is out and its been in the 70s and 80s. I hate driving with the windows down because my hair goes crazy, so I sit in a sauna on the way home from work. Got a quote yesterday to fix it and DH and I are debating whether we fix it or trade it in. I like the thought of a new car, but I think I like the thought of no car payment in a year and a half better.
GTKY: What netflix show are you binge watching these days? I have a Netflix account, but honestly I never use it. I say I don't have time to watch Netflix, but that's a complete lie, I just waste time doing other things and therefore I don't have time for Netflix. I do have a list of shows I would like to start watching. Maybe that will happened when I'm out for maternity leave.
I failed the one hour glucose test apparently. They said that my glucose levels were slightly elevated, so I probably barely failed it. I have to do the 3 hour next week. Honestly, my biggest fear right now is that I'll pass the 3 hour and then have to do both tests again at 28 weeks. The OB said originally that even if I passed the one hour test, I would do it again at 28 weeks. I have PCOS. The internet says that makes me high risk for GD and could explain why she's making me take it early and twice.
I'm currently watching One Tree Hill on Netflix, because I like the soap opera type shows when I'm stressing out. It's brain garbage.
People keep recommending 13 Reasons Why, but a few of them said it's really sad and I don't know if I can handle that while pregnant. I'm all extra emotional.

My MW makes all her patients do a glucose test at 16 and 28 weeks. I thought it was because of my BMI but that's not the case. Prayers for you that you pass the 3 hour glucose test!

@bridge-and-wall I'm sorry you failed the first test. I think I have to schedule that at my next appointment. Doesn't sound too fun.
