Upcoming appointments this week?

none, had AS tuesday. It went well but have to have another US in a month to check placenta placement because it was way too low this time. Not previa, but still possibly a risk of c-section if it doesnt move up. Doc also said I am finally almost back up to my starting pregnancy weight. Yeyyy!!

Any new symptoms or changes?

more nauseau every morning again. And holy cow indigestion! Also my gums bleed everytime I brush my teeht now.

Her nursery is starting to come together! I finished making the letters for her wall, her rug came in, glider comes in tomorrow, and I am about to order her crib skirt and valence! yeyyy!

GTKY: How old is the oldest pair of shoes in your closet?

Before our house flooded in August, I would have said at least 7 years old, and probably they were my chuck taylor's. Now I only have a couple older pairs that just so happened to be in my car during the flood. Those are probably like 2 years old.

Upcoming appointments this week? Nope, not till the 28th but I'll get to see our lil man again, the tech didn't get enough pictures at our AS

Any new symptoms or changes? I have to wear wrist braces at night to combat some carpal tunnel brought on by pregnancy; the past two nights I've woken up with my right hand numb and stabby feeling because I took that brace off in my sleep.

Rants/Raves/Questions? One more week in Albuquerque for work and then I'm DONE and can be home with my family!

GTKY: How old is the oldest pair of shoes in your closet? Oldest is probably some heels I bought forever ago, they're 9-10 years old. I only once-in-a-blue-moon, like every 2-3 years, wear them, so they're in great shape!

Upcoming appointments this week? Monday for 1 hour glucose test and routine appointment

Any new symptoms or changes? Had some swelling at the beginning of the week in a foot but it was due to sitting in a car for a LONG time. It's gone now.

Rants/Raves/Questions? I'm attempting to get all of our flowerbeds cleaned up and beautiful again. We have a lot of landscaping so it's been a work in progress. Man am I sore! Like hard to get off the couch and out of bed sore. Thanks extra pregnancy weight.

GTKY: How old is the oldest pair of shoes in your closet?
I think my oldest pair is my indoor soccer shoes from high school. Which I got as a freshman. So they're 19 years old

. But still so comfy!

@caity024 ugh, carpel tunnel. That doesn't sound fun at all! Hopefully it goes away after pregnancy.

How big is baby? Per the bump, it's a coconut, i don't know from ovia (left my phone at home)

Upcoming appointments this week? Not till the 24th, just a regular checkup

Any new symptoms or changes? I'm having pains in my rib cage region. I asked a few people, they said it's normal, everything is being pushed up. Anyone else?

Rants/Raves/Questions? Looking forward to a long weekend! Today is my friday, and boss is out, four day weekend!

GTKY: How old is the oldest pair of shoes in your closet? Ohh, I would say maybe 3-4 years. Nothing is too aged.

@NatSprat0703 I wonder if the size is based on weight or volume? I am glad you get another US, but hoping the placenta moves up! And getting the nursery ready is always exciting!

@bumpybump Good luck on the glucose test! And the extra pregnancy weight can make things harder. My knees ache towards the end!

I have been anxious for my anatomy scan. However, I felt the baby move yesterday, which has made me feel much better!
At home, DS had a horrible fever Sunday-Wednesday so we were up a lot at night and I had to take off work (and I need every sick day for maternity leave.) But weather is nice so I am hoping ot go out for some fresh air the next few days.
AND my genetics testing (materniti-21) was denied by insurance. I have 100% coverage but they were arguing it was out of network. (They seemed to think I flew to Cali to have bloodwork done) I appealed and I got the letter yesterday that they approved it! I am so elated, it was over $1000!

GTKY: How old is the oldest pair of shoes in your closet?
I have a pair of heels from my best friend's wedding that are 15 years old. She passed away this past October, so now I don't think I will ever have the heart to get rid of them.

Any new symptoms or changes? Tried to wean myself off of diclesis and failed. It's shitty that 24 weeks in I can still have bad nausea.

Rants/Raves/Questions? Not at the moment.

GTKY: How old is the oldest pair of shoes in your closet? Ok, when I was maybe 23 or 24 I got my first bonus and blew it on a pair of Christian Louboutins (on clearance). I haven't even worn them in years as they're very dressy and I never have occasion for them... and they're really high. But I used to wear them to work a lot when we had a formal dress code and I could wear long dress slacks with them. I miss them. I'll never get rid of them!

Nope. Next week. I think they will be doing tests again for gestational diabetes. Hopefully I will stay in the clear!

Any new symptoms or changes?
Tired and hungry most of the time, no matter what I do!

Feeling exhausted. No matter how much I sleep I am always tired. I even fell asleep sitting up in my chair yesterday... and I am at Reception! Good thing it's been slow, no one saw me! Where is this energy we are supposed to get during 2nd trimester?! Haha.

GTKY: How old is the oldest pair of shoes in your closet?
I have a pair of black "Park Avenue" lace pumps from 1930s... they were my Great Grandmother's. They go with a specific dress that I also have. Both are in great shape, because GG only wore them on special occasions. I only pull them out about once a year.

@jacksonbears I had that pain/pressure in my rib cage as well! I was assured that it is a combo of things moving around inside and your rib cage expanding a little. All normal. Another thing to check is if your bra is too small. I thought mine was fine, but OB advised I check. Turns out I was better off with a larger cup size. It lightened the discomfort for me a little.

Sciatica is still having a hayday but I bought a new bed and a pregnancy pillow and most of my lower back pain is gone.

@Kudlica27 I think my genetic testing has also been denied. I got something from insurance saying I owed providers like $1400, but I havent gotten anything from the provider yet, so I'm just holding tight until I do. My doc told me if insurance didn't cover it, it would only be $300 so I have no clue what is going on.
@caity024 Oh man the carpel tunnel sounds awful, I hope the pain goes away soon and it's completely gone after you have baby.
@bumpybump glad the swelling is gone for you! Flowerbeds are fun yet a pain to do! It's on my todo list for this weekend also.

@jacksonbears I've had that pain also. I feel like I've had so many new pains since pregnancy that I never thought I could have lol.

Some insurance providers don't "cover" the testing but they have a negotiated rate with the lab. Mine wasn't covered but the lab told me to call them after receiving the bill (which was something like $2k?), let them know I'm with X Insurance Company and they'd adjust it down to $200. They did, they sent a fresh bill with that amount, which I paid without issue.
Try calling the lab.

How far along are you? 20 weeks

How big is baby? Peaches or bananas depending on the app.

Upcoming appointments this week? I had my AS on Sunday and a reg visit this Monday.

Any new symptoms or changes? I'm finally starting to feel movement and baby B is so high up with a posterior placenta that I can feel her movements from the outside. Baby A has an anterior placenta so I can only feel slight flutters when I'm laying on my side.

Rants/Raves/Questions? My son and I are both home sick and it's kicking my butt. He got on antibiotics for an ear infection and seems to be feeling like a million bucks while I'm still flat on my back. Luckily he's very good about playing on his own.

GTKY: How old is the oldest pair of shoes in your closet? Probably about 10 years, but I don't wear them.
