After sitting in a car for a total of about 20 hrs last week, my left foot has started to swell. Great, just great! I was so swollen last pregnancy and for about 18 weeks total.

@bumpybump ugh. Hope you get a chance to put your feet up and relax.
I've had a headache and stiff neck off and on for 4 or 5 days now. DS has a virus with blisters in his throat and I'm probably being paranoid, but my throat is kinda scratchy.
I have a ring shaped irritation mark on my left hand. I e had to take my wedding rings off for the last week because it got so bad. And a week later it still hasn't healed. I've never had such sensitive skin before

Just your left foot is swelling? I would mention it to your doctor in case you have a blood clot.
The pollen has been awful here over the last month so I know it's part of the reason but I cannot breathe and have been getting bloody noses a lot. Got them with DD too.
@belmont1785 I have a history of leg swelling that goes back to college. I've had all the blood work done (last pregnancy) for clotting issues as both my father and uncle have had blood clots in their legs. I normally wear compression socks when traveling but forgot to take them along. It's literally my circulation. I also used to take aspirin when traveling to help thin my blood some.

So hot! Summer is going to be fun for me… Constipation may be back unfortunately. Feeling so much more movement and loving it! So happy that DH can feel it now!
This baby has been way more active then my DD (or I'm just feeling it way harder already) I'm incredibly thirsty constantly and I drink a ton of water. Does anyone know how much water is recommended? Is it different in pregnancy or the same?
1) Sore armpits: Never both at the same time. Only lasts a couple of days. Was worried it was lymph nodes telling me I was sick, but apparently its just a hormone thing?
2) Bra-size: I have now officially doubled in size. Went bra shopping for the third time this pregnancy. I had thought that I got some that had some room for growth that last time but noooo. Hopefully this will be the last time... until milk comes in that is. Bras are so dang expensive!
3) Movement!: This little guy is moving a lot and it has dramatically increased this week. For the first time last night... the kicks actually woke me up! Really nice to feel the movement though!
Just noticed my gums are very sensitive & bleeding, even though I floss daily and up to 2x/day. Was brushing my teeth last night and I looked into the mirror and it looked like someone jabbed me across my mouth and I was bleeding all over. Blood even went on my tshirt and counter tops. my DS asked "Mommy you blood" lol and handed me his pull up diaper to wipe up.
I've mentioned maybe twice that I'm having skin issues and the dermatologist confirmed today that it's "nothing to worry about!!"- just angioma. Yay. It's ugly. I can pay to have the big spot removed now or just wait to see if it recedes after giving birth. I guess in the meantime I'll be busting out more of my statement necklaces to cover it up.
I've also weaned off my anti-nausea medicine and now I'm not feeling good at work. Keeping my stomach not-empty seems to be helping, but still, SIGH.

I have this too. My dentist told me it's very common in pregnancy. Hormones are great! Not.
@dma0389@belmont1785 sensitive gums are very common. It can also extend into the duration of breastfeeding. I had 8 months between fully weaning DD and getting KUd and my dentist said it could take a while even after breastfeeding for your hormones to "regulate." Mine may not have in that time. Another reason why dental care is really important during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Speaking of teeth and dental, anyone know if it's safe to get dental X-rays? I know I'm probably due at my next appointment. I want to be prepared to decline if needed.
@Kathryn0903 X-rays are safe, but if you have the option to hold off until your next visit, I would recommend that. I had a lot of dental issues early in this pregnancy and had one x-ray done. The doctor put on two of the aprons to keep me extra safe. They told me they try to avoid them during pregnancy unless absolutely necessary just to err on the side of caution.
I'm having a lot of lower back pain. I'm also getting Charlie horses in my legs. I have low calcium due to not having a thyroid and having complications with my parathyroid, but my endocrinologist says all of my labs are fine. Guess I'll just continue to eat bananas and drink more water! Also, it's fun being the only pregnant person in my fairly young office. I literally look like a hunched over lady walking slowly in the halls!
I made it to almost 24 weeks without any crazy stories.... til yesterday. I had some sharp pains near my belly button and they didn't feel like growing pains. I called my Dr and they got me in right away to check everything. They did another sonogram (first one was at 17 weeks) to make sure baby was ok and she is but they told me I'm constipated. I thought I was on track with eating right and keeping up on my veggies, salads, chicken...all good stuff so it bummed me out when they told me that. Only pro about yesterday was that I got to see little one and she was smiling! Thankfully, the pain is gone today.

Yup you can decline, but it is safe with the apron. They're only scanning your head.
I just visited the dentist yesterday in fact, a new one, and it was... remarkably pleasant. I wasn't feeling well and the hygienist was soooo sweet and gentle and I never even gagged. That was my biggest fear going to the dentist while preggo was gagging the whole time.
I'm feeling babe kick so much more now!! It seriously is the best feeling in the world!! Hubs finally got to feel her move Friday night! Now everytime I say she's moving, he runs to touch my belly lol. Looking at certain things now makes me beyond nauseous. I was just washing a dish from lunch and almost vomed. And my dog threw up last night, same reaction!
I can't tell if baby is just doing somersaults/laps in there and it feels like pressure to me or if my body is really working on those braxton hicks. This is my third baby and I've never felt this much movement in my life (I started feeling him at 10 weeks and now the kid hardly sleeps - at ultrasounds he swims and flexes his muscles, I am very nervous for how active he is going to be!), but I also know that Braxton Hicks get earlier/stronger with each pregnancy. I had a precipitous labor (15 minutes in the car) with my second so I'm starting to get a wee bit nervous about my body going into auto-pilot too soon!
@tova24 Yes, I feel you on the leg cramps! I remember getting charlie horse cramps in 3rd trimester w/DS on the left leg and it was always in the morning when I'm almost ready to get up for the day. I just got my first Charlie Horse cramp today at 21 weeks. At first it was the left leg than it went to the right leg. WTH?! My God it hurt!
Oh and I drink A LOT of water...like enough for a horse to drink. I probably should up my calcium. I do eat cereal and milk often but can increase it more, lol.
