Hello! I thought I'd introduce myself here with my current situation. I'm 24 weeks with my 14th pregnancy. *trigger warning* 12 miscarriages and 1 stillbirth at 22 weeks. I was diagnosed with APS (antiphospholipid antibody syndrome) in October and we got pregnant in November. Last Sunday I just wasn't feeling quite right so we headed in and found out that we were 1 cm dilated. We'd been doing weekly cervical length checks and I had shortened from 3.3 to 2.4 in 2 days plus dilating to 1cm. The admitted me overnight and we saw the high risk docs in the morning. I was immediately taken in for an emergency cerclage which was successful thank goodness. They have me on hospital bed rest until 28 weeks then if all looks well, I can go home on bed rest until birth. I'm just wondering if anyone else has any experience with this kind of bed rest, or is on bed rest currently. I'm really just looking for people to talk to, ideas to keep sane, etc. I think it's good to have others to talk to when you're going through these things.
