Re: PGAL Check-In, Week of April 10
How far along are you?
Almost 24 weeks - which means viability!
How are you doing?
I'm good. I'm tired, as my DH was out of town last week and I had to manage both kids, plus work full time.
When is your next appointment?
A week from Friday
Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes:
DH felt the baby kick (hard) for the first time last
GTKY: What store would you most like to max out your credit card?
Gosh, I have a hard time with one. Pre-kids, I easily would have said Ann Taylor Loft. But these days, I'd probably pick something more reasonable, like Costco, lol!
M/C #2 - October 2016
MMC #1 - April 2016
How are you doing? not too bad. Movement has become almost daily, and I am loving it.
When is your next appointment? end of the month
Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: Im in love with this weather! It already 75 and tomorrow should be closer to 80! I love the heat, and cant wait to get outside to enjoy it!
GTKY: What store would you most like to max out your credit card? Oh boy! I could go nuts in a ton of places. Loft, Coach, Tory Burch, right now Pink Blush! However, I am having a ton of fun buying stuff to remodel our house, so I could keep maxing it out on new things!

How are you doing?
Mentally, it's been rough. I still haven't felt baby kick.(and I thought STMs felt it earlier) Thankfully, I have a doppler or I would have lost my mind by now. I am also super tired from Insomnia and DS being up all hours with a fever.
When is your next appointment?
AS is Friday. super nervous since I haven't felt baby kick.
Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes:
As said above, I haven't felt the baby move yet. My AS is Friday, and I am a ball of nerves. Thankfully, I have the whole day off.
GTKY: What store would you most like to max out your credit card?
Gap, I love their kids clothes!
21 weeks 3 days
How are you doing?
TW* Good. Having a hard time coming to terms with that fact that my DD will be 1 in a few weeks. And about to hit the mc anniversary. Bleh. Plus a friend and a cousin have both lost full term babies in the past 2 weeks.
When is your next appointment?
End of the month.
Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes:
DD has napped really well today. I have been feeling baby boy move a lot. I get to have a girls night tonight with chocolate fondue! But my oh my, the tantrums have begun. DD is super strong willed and it's tough to calm her down and not get smacked or kicked. I wasn't expecting this to begin by 11 months.
GTKY: What store would you most like to max out your credit card?
I'm not a huge shopper but I can do some damage on Amazon.
5.5.16 | 8.14.17 | 1.30.19
How are you doing? Today is my EDD from my loss so I took some extra time to reflect on that today and really just focus on the positives and that I'm lucky to be blessed with this baby right now. Obviously, it's still difficult, but hearing the heartbeat on the doppler of this munchkin helps calm me a little more.
When is your next appointment? Not til the end of the month for a normal OB checkup
Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: I really want this baby to move more and maybe more viciously so I can feel it regularly and DH can feel it. I move a lot at work so I feel like I don't feel movement as much since it could just be happening while I'm moving. And DH is super jealous that he can't feel anything and is dying to feel it!
GTKY: What store would you most like to max out your credit card? Probably Home Depot. I love our house (we just bought it in October), but I would buy the shit out of new appliances, a bigger kitchen sink, thicker windows on the busy road side, new carpet (because why not?!), etc.

@aehogan90 - those are heartbreaking losses
How far along are you?
Almost 21 weeks
How are you doing?
Now I'm feeling like I actually need to start preparing for this baby - there's not much to do since it's our second but we haven't even started clearing a room out yet!
When is your next appointment?
End of the month
Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes:
It was sooooo nice to finally get outside this past weekend, I was missing the sun
GTKY: What store would you most like to max out your credit card? Loft here too, otherwise those Amazon purchases sure do add up!
@littlebug2010 I want to buy something from pink blush but I've heard mixed reviews. Any experience to share?
@Kudlica27 having the doppler is good for peace of mind, but I can see how nerve-wracking not feeling anything yet can be. Positive vibes for Friday!
@aehogan90 so sorry for you're upcoming milestone loss; they are always hard. Take some extra time to yourself that day. Also, I'm so sorry to hear of your cousin/friend's losses.
@mokay19 thinking of you today. Glad you were able to take time for yourself
@bubblesmtu sometimes the start of cleaning is out a room is the hardest. You can do it!!
AFM:
How far along are you? 20 weeks
How are you doing? For the halfway point? So far, so good.
Next appointment? Last Monday of this month to check on the size of the clot at the end of my placenta. And I'll get to see the baby again so that's always a plus!
Rants/raves/positive vibes: My DH felt the baby move for the first time last night which was cool for him. I also thought it would be a good idea on my vacation week this week to sand and repaint our kitchen cabinets. Don't know what I was thinking...
GTKY: What store would you most like to max out your credit card? Maybe a department store like Macy's or Target bc they have everything.
20+2
How are you doing?
Physically, I feel pretty good. I feel a little more relaxed now that I had my anatomy scan and things look good. However, I still get nervous when I feel some type of cramp or pain that's more in the lower middle part of my uterus and therefore doesn't seem to be RLP. I don't think I'll fully relax until the baby is in my arms and then there will be a whole new set of worries.
When is your next appointment?
4/21
Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes:
Now that I'm past the halfway point, I feel like time is getting away from me. I have a bunch of things that I want to get done, both baby and house related, and I should do them before I get too uncomfortable. We're starting to get really busy on the weekends so I just need to buckle down.
GTKY: What store would you most like to max out your credit card?
I always spend more than I plan to at Target so I'm sure I could max out a card there. I like different clothing brands for different purposes, but for work clothes and dressier casual stuff, I wouldn't mind maxing out a card at White House Black Market.
How are you doing? I'm ok, I've realized I'm super tired this time around after a run or just the day. I wonder if it's the 2 kids or warm weather? Can't pin point but aside from being tired I feel great.
When is your next Appt? Tomorrow actually, 4/12. My 22 weeks check up. When is the glucose one? 24 weeks? I've never failed it, but not having to deal with that after having just gotten freed off Lovenox would be nice.
Rant/Raves/Positive Vibes? I'm excited to prepare but sometimes weary having just come off Lovenox at 20 weeks. Anyone here get to do that and all was good? I'm still on baby aspirin, but my blood flow to the placenta was perfectly normal and my MFM said there's no clots or reason to be on it but to just maintain the baby aspirin. He said blood vessels widen and the reason I was on it only affects pregnancy prior to blood vessels widening around the 20 week point. Anyways... I'm very excited to be having a girl and she moves around a lot now which is nice and reassuring.
GTKY: Well, if I were not pregnant I'd max out at Lord & Taylor or Gap. At this point it's all maternity and pea in a pod or gap maternity. I hate maternity clothes.. I never feel like I ever look "good" or put together in casual clothing. Work clothes I can match with a suit jacket, but casual it's just floppy. I carry small but refuse to buy x-small size maternity because I'm 5'8 and that's just dumb.
@MetsGirl18 When I feel those pains, I try to always remember that they are most likely growing pains. It might not be RLP but your uterus is stretching and making room. On top of that, your organs are moving around, and sometimes that hurts too.
@KyCade3013 I think most places like to do Glucose around 28 weeks. I am going in for mine at 25, but thats just becuase 28 weeks wasn't going to work for me (ill be away), so they wanted it earlier than later.

@littlebug2010 80?! We're supposed to see 80 today and I'm dreading it. Where's spring?! I love 65-70 degree weather that's ideal to me. I'm going to Alabama this weekend and it's supposed to be 80+ every day I'm there. I'm hoping I don't die! haha
@Kudlica27 Positive vibes girl!!!
@KyCade3013 my glucose test is 5/3 and I'll be just over 25 weeks. He let me take the drink home... joy

I'm good. Insomnia is STILL a thing, but feeling this girl move every day is major relief.
When is your next appointment?
5/3.... glucose time....
Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes:
1 more half day between me and a glorious few days off for spring break! Headed down south to see DH and see how far they've gotten on our house! Trying to move up closing to 6/1.
GTKY: What store would you most like to max out your credit card?
Ugh Pottery barn!!! If I wasn't pregnant I'd want lots of clothes, but I love love love Pottery Barn.

23 weeks.
How are you doing?
Feeling pretty good. This is the first time I haven't had an anterior placenta and it's crazy how much I can feel compared to the last two times.
When is your next appointment?
Not until the end of the month. I think I do my 2 hour glucose before then though...I just emailed my nurse to double check.
Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes:
TW maybe? I love watching everyone on here get past there previous loss dates. My current losses were after I already had 2 babies (Not that it didn't hurt but...my heartaches for those that had losses first.) This pregnancy has been stressful for me but I just celebrate SO much when everyone get's closer and closer.
I really hope this doesn't upset anyone. I just think you are all so strong and wanted to share it.
GTKY: What store would you most like to max out your credit card?
Good luck Friday!
glad you all are doing so well! Glad to see the PGAL crew going strong
How far along are you?

How are you doing?
Ok. Anatomy scan yesterday and baby girl looked great. It was nice to see
all her parts where they should be. Very reassuring.
When is your next appointment?
3 weeks from yesterday. Just the basic checkup.
Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes:
my mom passed away on 3/28 so shits been crazy. She was diagnosed with MS when I was 8 so I always knew this would happen but it doesn't make it any easier. She won't ever meet her granddaughter. But at least she knew I was pregnant and that it was a girl I guess. I'm an only child and my parents divorced when I was young so that was about it for my family. Very thankful for my husbands family. This solidifies my desire to have at least 2 kids. Being an only child fucking sucks.
GTKY: What store would you most like to max out your credit card?
Lowes all day. It's my happy place. And maybe some Ikea.
@dmbfan46835 Sorry about your loss. Being an only child is rough. I am praying for you and your family.
@littlebug2010 I am super jealous of where you live. I dream of living on the east coast.
@KyCade3013 Glucose is normally between 24-28. Your doctor may have a preference, but anywhere in the time frame is usually fine and accurate.
Thanks for the words of encouragement I am thinking it might be anterior too.
@dmbfan46835 So sorry about your loss.

My dog died my last pregnancy and I thought our world was going to end. Very thankful for a toddler to keep me busy this time or I'd be a hot mess. I hope to be more active on here and be a contributing member again tho!
