Team Blue! 12 weeks today! We did a Gender Reveal Brunch on our 11th anniversary during Spring Break with our closest family and it was so fun! They each wore pink or blue depending on what they thought we were having. There was definetly more blue since we have a boy (7) and girls (5)(2). Our oldest Gavyn cut the cake!
We got our genetics test results back today and thankfully it showed negative for abnormalities, and it will be another girl~! Finally getting some chicas on this board.
On one hand, we can't help feeling a tiny bit disappointed that we will never have a son (this is our last), and our girl names list is a too long and we don't love any of them; but on the other hand, we already have everything we need, know what we're doing, and I'm so excited DD will get to grow up with a little sister as a best friend like I did. She had really been wanting it to be a baby sister! I am also excited to see how her little personality will be different from DD's. Most of all, we are just happy that so far she looks healthy.
We got our blood test results back today, and not only were we cleared on any genetic issues, but we found out we're having a girl! Team Pink!! I had a gut feeling it was a girl and my sister and BFF were both convinced, too. Looks like our instincts were spot on!
We are having a boy! Which was a complete shock to myself and my husband. We already have a daughter, and my pregnancy has been so similiar to how I was with her---how I look, how I feel--that was a big factor me being convinced it was a girl. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't just a tiny hair disappointed. I kind of fell in love with the idea of our little girl having a sister. But, I think some of that also just comes from the fact that for 3 months I had it in my head convinced I was having a girl. Also, I'm kind of afraid of a boy haha Its just the unknown. With a girl, I know all the stuffs! This boy thing is uncharted territory for me!
We just got the Harmony test back. Everything is low risk and our little gummybear is a girl! So glad because we agree on a girl's name, but it was going to be a long 6 months trying to agree on a boy's name.
Got results back from the panorama test with low risk. We are having another boy My toddler says he's excited, but we'll see when baby brother gets here.
Panerama test results came back last week...low risk, and it's a BOY!!! I was sure it would be a girl for some reason, so I'm wrapping my head around all-things-boy, but I'm so excited!!! Due 9/30.
2D early gender scan today (15w5d) says it's a Girl!!!! Tech looked 7 different times and no boy parts showed up! Over the moon. 10 yr old son is at school so we shall see if he shares the excitement he wants a boy!
We have a 2 year old boy already and I'd convinced myself it was a girl, but I'm definitely warming up to the idea of brothers. ❤ thought we'd only have two, but already thinking maybe we'll try one more time for a girl now.
It's a girl! I am so happy and shocked to finally be right with one guess. DH is a bit bummed because this is supposed to be out last but he'll come around quickly. We're not telling family or friends though so it will be a nice surprise at the end.
We had an anatomy scan done Tuesday. We did our reveal yesterday, which was a surprise to us too so we didn't get to see the anatomy picture until after the party. We found out we are having a boy. (this is our second child, first was a boy as well). We were hoping for a girl but it's no biggie. The thing is, looking at the sonogram photo we noticed it does not look right. It looks like its way too big to be a boy part. Our son's anatomy scan and every other boy anatomy scan I've seen has been pretty consistent. This looks more like it might actually be the umbilical cord? We are requesting a new scan to be certain. I had read some stories of the umbilical cord being mistaken for boy parts. Have any of you had that experience? I'm not saying it's not a boy but I'm pretty sure that it's his umbilical cord in the picture. He was moving the whole time and she had a really hard time getting any good pictures.
Oh boy....we have TWO GIRLS coming! I thought for sure there had to be at least 1 boy-- my sweet little 7yr old DS is going to be surrounded by girls! I'm still a little in shock!
I feel crazy for posting this in the Anatomy Scan thread, the Ultrasound thread, and here, but we are TEAM PINK! So ecstatic to finally be able to call our LO by her name.
We had our AS today and confirmed we're having a little girl!! We actually were told it's most likely a girl last Friday but wanted to wait until today just to make sure. We're so excited!!
Had my first appointment today and did a dating ultrasound (at 18 weeks) and everything measured right and there is no doubt at all that baby is a BOY!
Team Pink!!! Found out officially now (not just a guess) at the last ultrasound on Thursday. So excited to be having a girl as a first time mom (and a first time dad for my fiance). There is such cute stuff for little girls lol.
