If your due date is 11/6, 11/13, 11/20, 11/27, this is for you!
1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby?
2. How are you feeling?
3. Any appointments this week?
4. Rants, raves, questions?
5. GTKY: What are you planning to do for childcare? Home daycare, daycare center, family member, SAH?
Re: Monday Ticker Change (4/10)
2. How are you feeling? Good! I'm still riding the high of seeing a perfectly growing baby with a strong heartbeat. My nausea definitely increased last week and is still here, but I'm crossing my fingers that starts to go away as I get closer to the end of first tri.
3. Any appointments this week? No. My next one isn't until early May.
4. Rants, raves, questions? We are putting our house on the market this week, which means all of my not-working time this week will be spent cleaning. Blerg. I don't mind the normal vacuuming and dusting, but scrubbing walls and baseboards and washing windows is so not my thing.
5. GTKY: What are you planning to do for childcare? Home daycare, daycare center, family member, SAH? My two now go to a center. I love the center and it's been great for both of them. They'll go to a new center once we move, and baby will join them at least a couple of days a week. I'm hoping that my WFH job post-move will be flexible enough that I can keep baby home 2 or 3 days a week after maternity leave, but I'll have to see how it goes and how - uh - demanding - this baby is.
2. How are you feeling? tired, constipated and nauseous
3. Any appointments this week? no, I'm still waiting for my insurance to kick in (have to remember to call HR tomorrow)
4. Rants, raves, questions? I'm super upset that we have to deliver Amazon on Easter Sunday and I won't get to see my 3 y/o enjoying the festivities
5. GTKY: What are you planning to do for childcare? Home daycare, daycare center, family member, SAH? We're going to have to figure this one out because $1500 a month for 2 kids in daycare is just ridiculous. I wish I still lived where I did when I had my son because his babysitter was amazing and only charged me $20 a day.
8 weeks and the size of a raspberry!
2. How are you feeling?
Okay at the moment, but lately it's been very nauseated and beyond exhausted!
3. Any appointments this week?
YES!! We finally have our first ultrasound tomorrow!! Eek!! Can't. Wait.
4. Rants, raves, questions?
Rant: still very unhappy how my inlaws took the news of us having another baby. They don't raise it or pay for it, so I don't know why they are so negative.
5. GTKY: What are you planning to do for childcare? Home daycare, daycare center, family member, SAH?
I currently work two days a week and DS3 goes to a daycare on those two days. I am working on trying to work per diem instead, so I can arrange my work time around when DH is working. If that works, then DS3 and the new baby will be home instead.
10 weeks. The size of a strawberry.
2. How are you feeling?
For the most part I did really well gaining my weight back this weekend. My birthday is on Friday so my parents took DD for the weekend so DH and I could go out and celebrate. Between lunch, dinner and movie popcorn Saturday and lunch and dinner on Sunday I think I gained the 10 pounds back from morning sickness and probably an extra few lol.
The nausea is still there especially if I cook or try to eat meat and exhaustion is hitting me hard this week.
3. Any appointments this week?
Nope.
4. Rants, raves, questions?
Raves- DH was awesome this weekend. Not only did he give me time to take a nap Saturday he did all the yard work yesterday too. I feel weird for saying this because I'm only 10 weeks and this didn't happen until late second trimester with DD but I get winded five minutes into doing anything physical so I was not looking forward to going out in the heat and not able to breathe.
5. GTKY: What are you planning to do for childcare? Home daycare, daycare center, family member, SAH?
This is something we did not talk about until we were already pregnant with DD. We started looking at daycares and everywhere was $1000 a week. I did not even make that a week so we agreed I would stay at home with the kids until the went to school full time than I will look into finding a part time job.
@MKMandeville Glad you're gaining your weight back. Hope you start feeling better!
@cmessamore I hope it's an amazing ultrasound!
@amber0529 Man, that was the babysitter jackpot! Sorry you have to work on Easter.

@cmessamore - I'm sorry about your in laws. And I hope you have a great ultrasound tomorrow!
@NYTino24 - Good luck today! I hope you're able to get answers and not be in that unsure limbo any more.
8w, I have a raspberry!! I am so excited to be 8w now. It feels like every week means I'm "more pregnant" (which is silly I know).
2. How are you feeling?
pretty blah, nauseated and tired, but the last couple days I've been feeling a bit better and not having as many food aversions, so I really hope this means things are improving.
3. Any appointments this week?
No, not until next week. I'm jealous of all the happy u/s but I'm also glad that I'll be 9 1/2 weeks and the u/s will be really definitive.
4. Rants, raves, questions?
one of my very best friends and my sister are both trying to get pregnant... I don't feel guilty exactly but I do feel sad talking to them about my pregnancy when I wish so much that they could have their own happy news!
5. GTKY: What are you planning to do for childcare? Home daycare, daycare center, family member, SAH?
I stay at home with DD and plan to continue as long as possible and reasonable!
@NYTino24 Good luck today!! I really hope there's lots of good news and no more questions after today! Definitely keep us posted.
I am 7w 1 d - Baby is the size of a blueberry!
2. How are you feeling?
I'm feeling okay. Definitely tired, definitely nauseous.
3. Any appointments this week?
Nope. My first appointment is 4/18 and this time is CRAWLING!
4. Rants, raves, questions?
My only rant is that I wish there was an earlier appointment so I can stop being so anxious about just confirming the pregnancy & get to being able to see a sticky, growing, and healthy baby.
5. GTKY: What are you planning to do for childcare? Home daycare, daycare center, family member, SAH?
I am currently a stay at home mom and beachbody coach.. so I guess I'm a WFHM lol. I stayed home with our first so I could go to school for my masters in education and the goal was to go back to work until we found out we were pregnant & may be PCS-ing in February 2018.
eta autocorrect fail
2. I've been feeling much better. At my last appt my OB prescribed Diclegis for my nausea, and that has helped a lot!
3. No appt until May. I've already been to my 8 week and seen my little peanut
4. Rave on my hubby because it's my birthday today and he's spoiled me rotten this year! Got me a Pandora bracelet and took me out to a wonderful dinner last night, then made me breakfast in bed this morning. He's the best!
5. I'm already a SAHM, and I plan to continue doing just that! I love it!
8 weeks the size of a raspberry
2. How are you feeling?
The fatigue is kicking my butt. I have been very nauseous for weeks, and now the morning sickness has kicked in while driving to work.(not fun)
3. Any appointments this week?
No appts this week already had my first ultrasound! I don't go back till May.
4. Rants, raves, questions?
Rant: Just praying that I don't ended up getting hyperemesis gravidarum like I had it with my son. Its been almost ten years since I was pregnant with him.
5. GTKY: What are you planning to do for childcare? Home daycare, daycare center, family member, SAH?
My husband works from home, so we will have someone come to our house to help him with the baby.
10 weeks! I can't believe it! Strawberry - it's bigger than an inch now!
2. How are you feeling?
The start of last week was great - boobs bothering me less, stomach pretty good - till the nausea kicked back in full swing at the end of the week and all the way through the weekend.
3. Any appointments this week?
Nope - MFM next Friday am. I can't wait - and will probably then tell the boss right afterwards, since we're starting to plan chaperoning opportunities for the start of next school year, and I feel that he needs to know what's going on.
4. Rants, raves, questions?
Got to see one of my close friends and tell her in person this weekend! (She lives out of state, but was passing through for work). Breakfast was great, but then why or why did my stomach suddenly disagree with everything, causing me to be in the bathroom at Starbucks for a half hour! grumble....
5. GTKY: What are you planning to do for childcare? Home daycare, daycare center, family member, SAH?
Still trying to figure this out. I will be going back to work for sure, but my mom has offered to help watch after LO so he/she stays out of day care, at least for the first few months (I'm a teacher, so I'll at least be around for the summer time again). Not sure if we're going to take her up on this full time yet, but I love the option. We might also talk to DH's dad who I think would be more than willing to also help out.
We have one healthy baby that is measuring 8w4d today. No one can seem to agree on a due date, so I'm sticking with 11/20 until my next appointment in 2 weeks.
2. How are you feeling?
Very happy all looks good. Didn't see something like last week (mystery blob). Yolk sac seems way smaller and more Cheerio like than that thing... Docs are saying singleton. Can't seem to stop yawning or peeing.
3. Any appointments this week?
Done with both!
4. Rants, raves, questions?
A little overwhelmed with the number of appointments I had to schedule today. At least 5 between now and July 5. It feels real now that we are scheduling so far in advance now.
5. GTKY: What are you planning to do for childcare? Home daycare, daycare center, family member, SAH?
Not sure yet. Trying to minimize days off this school year and will take a look at the calendar when I get with my union rep before the end of the school year to see when I'd start leave. Probably a center, but maybe DH's dad's cousin's daughter in our home if there is a long wait list / depending on where we decide to move. They live a few blocks away in the next town over and she's still in community college.
