How far along are you? 33 weeks

How big is baby? Huge if my belly is any indicator. People are shocked when I tell them I have 7ish weeks left.

Any appointments this week? My doctors office couldn't get me in (wtf) for a 32 week appt, but I have one this upcoming week.

Symptoms? Aches hips and pelvis, lots of low pressure and lightening crotch, and the fatigue is starting to creep in.

Cravings? Costco hot dogs... hangs head in shame. I've only had two this pregnancy but they were really good. And now a slurpee after the convo in randoms

Rants/Raves/Questions? Nothing in particular. I'm excited that my car seat is finally on sale next week so I can get that purchased with my registry completion discount. Last big thing we still need. Oh yeah, and baby still doesn't have a name

    Team Pink/Blue/Green? blue

Something delicious that includes alcohol. And sleeping on my stomach, even if only for 2 hour increments.

ETA: @Jens_Hoes I totally agree! Being at the very end of the month it totally catches me off guard how many mamas we have who are so close to full term! So excited for all the babies to come in all their adorable squishy glory.

Symptoms? Exhaustion, leaky boobs, waddling, heartburn

Cravings? Chicken breast sub with bacon from Subway and Pacific Veggie pizza with pepperoni and extra mushrooms from Dominos

Rants/Raves/Questions? Does anyone have any remedies for heartburn? Zantac and tums don't cut it anymore. Neither does watching what I eat, drinking milk or drinking baking soda water. It's gotten to the point of waking up in the night throwing up.

    Team Pink/Blue/Green? Pink

GTKY: What are you looking forward to indulging in once baby is born? (Things you can't do now) Being able to sleep on my stomach, eating what I want and not having to worry about BS spiking, and being able to have a glass of wine
  • @michelle59-2 you could ask your Dr for a prescription. My friend had to get a prescription she ended her pregnancy sleeping sitting up on the couch because it was so bad
  • @michelle59-2 I take Prilosec. Zantac worked for me at first and then only worked for a few weeks. I've been taking Prilosec since January.

  • @michelle59-2 I'm taking prilosec as well for about two weeks now.
  • How far along are you? 34 weeks

How big is baby? cantaloupe or basketball hoop

Any appointments this week? growth scan and ob appointment

Symptoms? Mild contractions and cramping. The cramping is most likely due to having my cervix checked in L&D.

Cravings? Beer. I don't even like beer.

Rants/Raves/Questions? My shower is next Saturday. Yay!

    Team Pink/Blue/Green? Pink

GTKY: What are you looking forward to indulging in once the baby is born? (Things you can't do now) Walk like normal. And booze, or course.
  • @michelle59-2 and @Yiggle09 I take Prilosec every day for my hernia and GERD (for like years now). Since being pregnant I've taken tums as needed and Zantac. My dr just told me I could take Zantac every night if it was hat bad. So Prilosec in the morning and Zantac at night. Maybe that would help?

  • Any time! @michelle59-2! And if you want you can take omeprazole which is the generic for Prilosec. That's actually what I take.

I definitely take a generic too (cheaper!) but usually say Prilosec since people know that at least.
