Re: *Sunday Ticker Change* 4/9
RAVE: We got our Nuna Pipa carseat and successfully installed it in both cars and on the stroller. I'm so excited to actually use it in a couple of months. It's not long now!!
GTKY: what was the last movie you saw (TV and/or theater)? How was it? We watched Nocturnal Animals last night. I do not recommend it. A lot of artifice without much of a core, and one of the plot lines freaked me out so I didn't sleep well. Plus the beginning is just bizarre and unnecessary.
24 weeks!!! V-day!!!!
Cantaloupe
OB for quick ultrasound to measure cervical length and midwife for a group visit (hurl. Sitting around sharing feelings with a group of strangers is not my jam)
Nothing terrible but hip pain and reflux have been happening off and on.
As of tomorrow, our whole BMB is at viability!
GTKY: what was the last movie you saw (TV and/or theater)? How was it?
I watched The Girl on the Train recently and thought it was great. I still prefer the book but I think Emily Blunt is wonderful!
GTKY: what was the last movie you saw (TV and/or theater)? How was it? Gosh this is embarrassing, the last movie I saw was The Good Dinosaur. Such is life with an almost 4 year old and 2 year old. Oh, and it was adorable.
my happy boy
28 weeks. Helloooo Third Trimester!!! Woot woot!
"eggplant"
no
I'm growing significantly...!
We've been traveling a lot and having to use different car seats. I invested in the Clek Fllo last year, and while it's pricey, it's by far and away the easiest seat to install and also to get a good fit for DS. It's a pure joy to use compared with cheaper seats I bought. I think next time we are Stateside, I'm going to schlep that thing around on flights rather than use the cheaper ones I've strategically left at relatives' houses. (Booooo to you, Evenflo Sonus! I hate that POS with a passion.)
GTKY: what was the last movie you saw (TV and/or theater)? How was it?
I went to the movies this week for the first time in a year! Saw "Bangaologia" a documentary about fashion from Angola. It was decent. The concept of "banga" is that special flair/pride that Angolans have for how they dress, which was SO fun to see.
edited: banga not bangs
GTKY: what was the last movie you saw (TV and/or theater)? How was it? Last theater movie was Split, which was actually pretty good (and creepy). Last TV movie was the 2nd Jurassic Park movie which was on earlier today... it was alright, I guess.
And hooray for all of us Sunday due dates crossing the V-day line!

Rants/Raves/Questions?
Rants: I want to move on with the nursery already...
Raves: I have officially sold everything that needed to be sold/replaced and feel so light now. Nothing extra left in the house.
GTKY: what was the last movie you saw (TV and/or theater)? How was it?
i watched Cinderella because I wanted to ESP after beauty and the beast. I liked it!
GTKY: what was the last movie you saw (TV and/or theater)? How was it? I saw Beauty and the Beast in the theater last week. It was fantastic!
Other than that, I'm getting bigger and baby has now started kicking me in the cervix. Thanks baby, that feels great /s.
Raves: We picked up brand new a Halo Sleep Sack for $5 on my local FB moms group!
Rants: I wish I could just sell my stupid car already, and getting it fixed from the fender bender is just annoying. I should be thankful I don't have to pay for any of it, but it's still frustrating. I was hoping to be rid of the thing by now.
GTKY: what was the last movie you saw (TV and/or theater)? How was it? Yesterday, boyfriend and I watched "The Most Hated Woman in America" on Netflix. It was super interesting and not at all what I thought it would be. At first I was like, Wow, Madelyn Murray O' Hair is a pioneer for religious freedom!...then I was like, oh, she's actually kind of a shady criminal and a bad mom...then, *SPOILER ALERT* she gets kidnapped and murdered. We were like, WTF did we just watch? It got so dark! I spend part of the day reading about her yesterday. She was way ahead of her time, but unfortunately greed got the best of her. It made me mad that no one cared she went missing because she was an Atheist. Granted, she had gone off the grid before, but it was pretty clear that something bad had happened to her. It is worth watching, even though she was undoubtedly a polarizing figure!
GTKY: what was the last movie you saw (TV and/or theater)? How was it? Finding Dory- I love that movie. But I sadly can't remember the last grownup movie I watched!
GTKY: what was the last movie you saw (TV and/or theater)? How was it? John Wick 2. Highly recommend.
GTKY: what was the last movie you saw (TV and/or theater)? How was it? In theaters, "Beauty and the Beast." DS fell asleep through it lol, but I loved it. Rented, "Hidden Figures," which was fantastic. I am seriously considering changing this baby's middle name to Katherine.
