How big is baby? a pineapple
Any appointments this week? Monday - just a routing appointment
Symptoms? insomnia, nausea, heartburn, standing up hurts
Cravings? some days all I want to do is eat and others I don't want anything at all
Rants/Raves/Questions? Just really looking forward to meeting DD#2 and feeling better.
Team Pink/Blue/Green? Name? Pink / Scarlett
GTKY: What are your favorite fast food restaurants? (I always think it's fun to hear about what's popular in different areas of the country!) I think my current favorite is probably 5 Guys although I do like Wendy's too!

How big is baby? butternut squash
Any appointments this week? I had a routine OB appointment yesterday. My BP was slightly elevated, but urine sample came back clear. I also found out baby is head down! This is exciting since DD was breech and I'm hoping for a VBAC.
Symptoms? Nothing new
Cravings? Not really, sweets maybe?
Rants/Raves/Questions? I'm just getting nervous about it all...labor, parenting two (especially after DD's epic meltdown this morning), remembering new infant stuff...
Team Pink/Blue/Green? Name? Blue, probably Isaiah
GTKY: What are your favorite fast food restaurants? Chick-Fil-A is yummy. I also love a local chain called My Burger. The burgers are so fresh and tasty.

How big is baby? Cantaloupe or basketball hoop. Those things seem so different, but I'm just going by what the apps say.
Any appointments this week? Starting next Thursday, I'm on weekly visits with my midwife.
Symptoms? Carpal tunnel started this week, and I hate it. I'm talking to an acupuncturist right now about getting some treatment. The wrist brace isn't cutting it.
Cravings? I've started getting sick again and that makes me want sour things.
Rants/Raves/Questions? Other than ranting about my annoying carpal tunnel, I'm ok.
On the the plus side, my husband is starting a new job with better pay and benefits.
Team Pink/Blue/Green? Name? Blue. No name yet.
GTKY: What are your favorite fast food restaurants? I love Braum's ice cream. I guess I'll go with Subway for food, since vegetarian food isn't always easy to find in fast food places. Taco Bell has a good menu too, but I have had food poisoning from them before.
@KMD1106 so excited DS is head down!! Praying you get the VBAC you're hoping for! I'm with you about freaking out about parenting 2. DD is very very attached to me. I also keep pretending labor isn't really about to happen...ha
@jdebaie sorry about your HB!
How big is baby? Pineapple!
Any appointments this week? Nope
Symptoms? My feet has started to swell a bit. Annoying.
Cravings? Just salty foods
Rants/Raves/Questions? Being pregnant and clothes/shoe shopping is the worst.
Team Pink/Blue/Green? Name? Blue! Sebastian
GTKY: What are your favorite fast food restaurants? Does Panera Bread count as fast food? I could eat there everyday. I also love Mooyah! Mmmmm I'm hungry.
How big is baby? Celery stalk, ferret
Any appointments this week? I made an appointment on Wednesday to see a new OB. I love my midwives and still want to give birth with them, but I am worried about risking out of being in their care and sometimes they are too slow to respond, so I thought touching base with an OB couldn't hurt. I'm thinking of it as a consult.
Symptoms? Aches and pains galore. Flu on top of it all. Insomnia.
Cravings? Not really. Poor appetite. I've been enjoying protein smoothies and healthy ice cream because it feels good on my sore throat.
Rants/Raves/Questions? I'm really annoyed that my midwives took 2+ days and 2 phone calls to call me back. It makes me feel obnoxious and needy, which maybe I am, but I feel they should be more prompt and responsive. I also feel like sometimes they can't actually handle me, like my case is too "complex". They've only had 2 other mamas with GD. That makes me nervous. I am a young healthy woman, but not a healthy pregnant woman. It's been one thing after another it feels, and while I like them and their approach when they do respond, I feel like it's so much work on my end and half the time I can't get all my answers in one visit/phone call.
Team Pink/Blue/Green? Name? Green!
GTKY: What are your favorite fast food restaurants? (I always think it's fun to hear about what's popular in different areas of the country!)
I grew up near a Taco Bell, and that was one of the only fast food places around, so I will always love TB. Now that I live in the south (NC) I like Cook Out, mainly for their hush puppies and shakes.
How big is baby? Cauliflower, a ferret
Any appointments this week? Not until next Friday- and it's the first time I'll be bringing DS1 with me, so that should be interesting...haha. His daycare and my work are both closed for Good Friday (although my PC work calls it "Spring Holiday"), so we are having a mama/baby fun day!
Symptoms? Heartburn, occasional backaches, hunger, lots of sweet baby kicks
Cravings? Not really, I pretty much just enjoy all foods at this point...haha
Rants/Raves/Questions? Rant directed at the people I've seen on here complaining about baby movements. I know the person who mentioned being annoyed by them on a UO yesterday was immediately flamed, but I've seen multiple people complain about baby movements and I don't get it. Baby movements and maternity pants are the greatest part of pregnancy and probably the only things I'll miss.
Team Pink/Blue/Green? Name? Blue, Henry
GTKY: What are your favorite fast food restaurants? Hmmmm...probably Panera. I also have a weakness for McFlurries and McDonald's fries, but I don't eat anything else from there.

I'm sorry you aren't happy with your midwives. Hopefully you will like this OB.
ETA and feel better soon!!
@MollyandD Congrats on DH's new job! Is it part of your midwife's practice that you go every week, or is there a certain reason they want to see you so frequently?
@bacorrea I wouldn't consider Panera fast food, but that's just me. It's far too wholesome to be in that category.
@kayemjay2 I love the kicks (and jabs and ninja movements and ballet twirls and all the acrobatics, even when they hurt), so I hear you on that. I will totally miss them. With all of my symptoms and the ups and downs, what's pushed me through it all the most is feeling baby movements. It brings tears to my hormonal eyes!
@kayemjay2 - nothing beats McDonald's fries!
@mollyandd - the heartburn is the worst! I'm already on two Zantac a day as well as Tums, I will not miss this part of pregnancy at all!

How big is baby? Honeydew melon, 2 plates of beignets, and I'm thinking around 6lbs? Supposedly baby was 4.5ish lbs 4 weeks ago.
Any appointments this week? Just got back from one. HB is lowest its ever been at 135-145 (its normally 165-175), I'm about 1cm dilated, and baby is most definitely head down though still very high. Looking forward to a bit of a drop so I can breathe!
Symptoms? Restless leg syndrome at night, ughhhh. Acid reflux at night, some BH.
Cravings? Nothing really right now.
Rants/Raves/Questions? Not at the moment, just getting excited.
Team Pink/Blue/Green? Name? Team green! Names are same as last week. I think we did decide 2 middle names if it's a girl.
GTKY: What are your favorite fast food restaurants? In n Out, I know there's another, but I cant think.

@mollyandD yay for DH's new job
@kayemjay2 I'm with you on the baby kicks. I look at them as a sweet reminder of the little baby growing inside of me.
How far along are you? 34 weeks
How big is baby? Butternut squash
Any appointments this week? I start weekly appointments on Tuesday.
Symptoms? Heartburn, back ache, inability to get comfortable at night, lack of concentration (at work). The last one could be a BS symptom, but I'm chalking it up to pregnancy.
Cravings? Cold icey beverages thanks to the randoms thread. I had a Oreo shake last night and I'm thinking a snow cone is in my near future.
Rants/Raves/Questions? Cervix checks. Hmmm, I just don't remember much. I'm assuming they'll start at 35 weeks. I guess I need to do some personal gromming before Tuesday.
Team Pink/Blue/Green? Name? Green / TBD

+1 for Chick-fil-A
for a burger - Wendy's
for a beverage - Sonic
I'm not a big fan of Taco Bell, but while DH was stationed in San Antonio I discovered Taco Cabanna.
I also think Whataburger is nasty.
@nda_roxybabe - I haven't been to the west coast in a long time but I so want to try In-N-Out burger to see what all the hype is about!

@KMD1106: so glad to hear about the head-down status (also a bit jealous!)
@MollyandD: I've done acupuncture for other issues and have found it to be really helpful; hope you do too! And yay for your hubbs' new job!
@bacorrea: Yes, Panera counts! It's technically in the "fast casual" category, not really "fast food," but I think it's close enough. I looked at this huge Wikipedia list of FF restaurants and couldn't find any that I'd consider a favorite. But def Panera is my top choice!
@jayandaplus: 2 days and 2 phone calls would drive me beyond insanity! If even 4 hours go by on even a non-urgent but serious question and I don't get a callback, I'd be pissed off. Good for you for setting up an OB consult.
@kayemjay2: I agree with your sentiment on the baby movements. Every gurgle, ripple, kick, roll, jiggle, hiccup, weird shifting around, and using me as a legit punching bag only helps to reinforce for me that he's doing okay in there.
@jayandaplus: When you mentioned banana fudge, my brain flashed on this frozen treat from Trader Joe's called Gone Bananas. It's basically little slices of frozen bananas enrobed in chocolate, and it's a staple in my freezer in the summer. So yummy!
@nda_roxybabe: 3 weeks left!! It's amazing.
@mspacman34: No worries about the paragraph-spacing issue, and I commiserate with you on computer woes. We are so dependent on technology (and it's awesome and helpful in so many ways!) but when it fails it's such a headache.
Back in the summer, I had copied out of my phone like 1200 photos, which was almost a year's worth of the best of my son's life, putting them onto my not-quite-one-year-old computer, and deleting them from my phone (to keep things clean). Then a few weeks later my computer completely crashed, and I hadn't backed anything up to the cloud or my external hard drive. That was totally on me, and I know it, but that failure (on such a new computer) completely devastated me for months. All of my work stuff was gone but mostly retrievable through emails and regular backups, but it was the loss of those photos that hurt the most. Then I had a horrible experience with acting on the SquareTrade protection plan, which compounded my sadness. But anyway, tech woes. Check. Can't ever trust it. Double check.
Any appointments this week? Had a weekly u/s (for pre-e) and everything's status quo (which is great in terms of my BP, baby's health, etc.) but he's not head-down, and the doc's talking about manual spinning/version and induction in a few more weeks. New territory for me. Nervousness abounds.
Rants/Raves/Questions? I got my new diaper bag delivered yest and I'm really happy with it!!
Team Pink/Blue/Green? Name? Blue, and we're down to 5 names, with 3 favorites we keep circling back to.
GTKY: What are your favorite fast food restaurants? Panera! My hubbs and I spent (probably too much) time at TGIFriday's back in the day, too, even though that's technically more "casual dining" than "fast food" eating, but I loved the drink selection and apps.
There's plenty of time for baby to flip on his own. Did your MD talk about doing exercises at home to flip baby? Congrats on the diaper bag!
