How far along are you? 29 Weeks
How big is baby? 2lb 11oz (on Wednesday). Acorn Squash today!
Upcoming appointments? Next is an OB check up on the 18th
Any new symptoms or changes? Had my first swelling last Saturday. My rings, watch, fitbit and boots all were really tight for the majority of the morning, thankfully it went away. Sleep has been questionable this past week.
Rants/Raves/Questions? Rave: Little lady is growing right on track even though I have a placenta lake that could stunt her growth and she is currently head down. I passed my GD test that I was so nervous about. Also, I feel lucky to have not gotten a cold for the first 6+ months of this pregnancy.
Rant: I have a head cold that started mid-week and it's horrible (not sure how all you ladies on here who have been dealing with non-stop colds do it). I have been taking some OB approved medicine which is helping but I feel super guilty for taking anything, but at the same time without it I can't breath.
I know we keep saying this - but time is flying by. I can't believe another week has passed.
GTKY: Do you love or hate rollercoasters? When not pregnant, I am always up for a rollercoaster!

Upcoming appointments? Not till the 21st
Any new symptoms or changes? I got stopped in my tracks a couple times when bending down to pick something up off the floor. But I think my constipation this week had a lot to do with that.
Rants/Raves/Questions? Just worried that my mom doesn't lose money on my baby shower. From what I hear invites are not out yet and I know in these halls/restaurants you have to commit to a number of people. Not sure what is up with the people helping her, I know she was trying to get this planned back in Feb but she's 75 and English is her second language so she needs help. I just feel bad.
GTKY: Do you love or hate rollercoasters? Give me all the roller coasters!!!! I get more scared the older I get though

Upcoming appointments? Friday, might meet with the nurse again Tuesday to talk about diet changes that might help my fasting number.
Any new symptoms or changes? Starting to feel more sore and stretching / growing pains.
Rants/Raves/Questions? My OB's office is not always on the same page. My doctor recommended that I see a dietitian and the nurse set me up with an appointment to see her. Very frustrating, my fasting number is a little high and I am borderline medication ugh. She said it would take weeks too get in with a dietician.
GTKY: Do you love or hate rollercoasters? I used to love them... Now that I am older I have no desire to go wait in line. I would rather sit on the beach.
@tmrussell sorry you are struggling with your GD numbers. Fingers crossed you are able to get some guidance on diet changes.

Upcoming appointments? Have my first NST on Wednesday and I'll be getting them every other week from now on. Hopefully my little girl is doing well and showing no signs of distress!
Any new symptoms or changes? Just getting more easily short of breath lately. I'm continuing to walk each day around my neighborhood but after I struggled with the usual walk yesterday I decided to make it just a little bit shorter moving forward.
Rants/Raves/Questions? Right now my goal is to just enjoy one on one time with DH as much as possible. We spent the entire day together yesterday (which included our very first class at the hospital about caring for a newborn). All afternoon we just hung out, then went out to Carters to take advantage of their current store-wide 50-60% off sale. Seriously, GO if you still need baby clothes! We got 30 items of clothing for $120 (also had a 20% off coupon). Then we went out to dinner. I'm really just enjoying being a couple right now. We are both so excited for our baby to be born but things are about to change drastically and I want to cherish this time that we have.
GTKY: Do you love or hate rollercoasters? I used to love all rollercoasters, but now I really just enjoy the Disney ones that aren't too crazy and are themed. Like Big Thunder Mountain and Space Mountain (Disneyland only for the latter... it's much better there than at WDW).

Upcoming appointments? Midwife on Thursday. DH hasn't been able to make it to the previous 2 so he hasn't met this particular one before, which gave me a chance last time to warn her that he was feeling left out and a bit disappointed by having midwives instead of an OB. Hopefully that helps her leave a better impression and he can start getting on board.
Any new symptoms or changes? I've been coughing a lot this past week so I don't know if that's still acid reflux related, or just shortness of breath, or if I actually have a non-pregnant reason to be coughing.
I also got my first real good kick a few days ago. I've been feeling movement forever including pokes and turns but this was the first one that was a real "ouch" moment.
Rants/Raves/Questions? So happy we've finished moving! Not so happy that we still have a ton of things to unpack and organize. It's nice moving into an existing household because things like the kitchen are already functional, but integrating our things with the in-laws things is still a bit of a process
GTKY: Do you love or hate rollercoasters? generally love, except there are a few where my head bounces around too much and I get a headache. Last time DH and I went to an amusement park we spent all day on the big rides and literally the last time on one we'd been on already earlier in the day, I somehow pulled a muscle in my neck that made it awkward to turn one way for the next few days. Made me feel really old
