GTKY: What family traditions do you plan to continue with your little ones? For all of my siblings and my birthday, my parents would put together a treasure hunt to find the gifts. They would write clues and hide the gifts and we had to go find them all before we could open them. It's one of my favorite memories!

Any new symptoms or changes? Nope...

Rants/Raves/Questions? When at the end of the day I feel gigantic and my DH just nods his head and goes, 'well, yeah, your pregnant...' Dude that doesn't mean I need to be gigantic! I know I shouldn't say it if I want him to just disagree, but I said it for the first time the other night because I really felt like I had gotten a lot bigger in the last week or so...a simple, no you aren't would have worked. Not, Yes.

GTKY: What family traditions do you plan to continue with your little ones? We didn't have many growing up, so I want to start some. DH has some X-mas traditions we will go with, like when we give presents and getting xmas PJs the night before.

Upcoming appointments this week? Had an ultrasound this morning because he wouldn't let us see his spine at the anatomy scan.

Any new symptoms or changes? Lots of movement.

Rants/Raves/Questions? Nope

GTKY: What family traditions do you plan to continue with your little ones? Family vacations. FIL is a preacher and used all his vacation time for revival. I want my kids to have vacations like we always did.

@smallbutmighty77 -- haha! feeling you on that. every time my husband catches me getting dressed he always has to walk in the room saying "whoooa! wow, look at that belly"....ummm could you wait until i'm like 8 months along to say that? cause you're making me feel giant, and it's only going to get bigger!

Upcoming appointments this week? nope, had our A/S last week, but will have to schedule another ultrasound because she was curled up in a ball and they couldn't get views of a couple things

Any new symptoms or changes? random abdominal pains... trouble getting comfortable/sleeping at night - which sucks because i am TIRED AF

Rants/Raves/Questions? i am struggling to buy anything cause i'm not sure if i should wait till after the baby shower for clothes, etc -- just so people don't buy things i already got, and then i can buy what we didn't receive. but i also don't want things i love to sell out/not be available. should i just go for it and buy myself? or just get over it and register/wait?

GTKY: What family traditions do you plan to continue with your little ones?
all of our german family get togethers (easter, thanksgiving, christmas eve). as a kid we had a tradition of driving out to my relatives farm every summer but it stopped after my parents had their 4th kid... i'd love to start that tradition again - as well as start new travel traditions with friends.

Rants/Raves/Questions? Ugh the tailbone pain! My first was always up in my ribs and this guy is low so maybe that's why it's so bad this time.

GTKY: What family traditions do you plan to continue with your little ones? Our Christmas cookie baking days, certain recipes or meals for each specific holiday, hopefully annual summer camping trips once the kids are a bit older etc.

@em1017 I know how you feel.. especially with some of the adorable baby clothes. I got a great deal at Gap where they were selling winter styles for almost 70% off. I would have been so sad if I went back after my shower and the clothes were gone. I say if you really love something and would be upset if it was sold out/gone by the time your shower rolls around, just go for it! Everyone will probably bring you cute baby clothes regardless of what's on your registry

@secicc12 -- thanks! true! i should look out for deals like that. my mom told me the same thing, just get a few things that i love the most and register for a few others so that people can get an idea of our style.... but i expect that people just get whatever they think is cute anyway whether we will like it not, so i'm prepared for that

" Totally not our style, but people just get excited. Although I'd rather be in this situation than feel like no one else around me is excited about LO!
