Ever recognize a person?

Has anyone ever recognized a person on here or on thenest? Or do you know someone and then find out they posted on a message board?

I remember I lurked on my local wedding board way long ago on theknot to get vendor recs.  There was this one girl who had this amazing wedding, absolutely beautiful pictures of herself and she posted a lot.  I saw her in the mall one day and wanted to be like "oh hi, I love your wedding photos!"  But of course I didn't.

    LOL, that's too funny! I haven't had that happen to me. It doesn't seem like there's a lot of Washington ladies on the boards.

    Once on GP a few months ago, a girl I was good friends with in high school (BoHara82) saw me.  I was nervous at first she was going to tell people we were ttc, but we were in the same boat and we talk now occasionally so it wound up being a good thing. lol.  Scary at first though.

    No I can't say I have. I don't think there is anyone from my town on here. The closest would be Toronto and that's a good 4 hours away!

    I ran into another knottie today at the grocery store.  We do a lot of GTGs and some of the girls hang out on a regular basis on our local board.

    Yep! My hair stylist caught me on here, but now she is a regular on here..and we can talk about things when I get my hair cut!LOL
