Sometimes I only shave my legs once a month. I don't forget or anything, I just don't do it. But once I do shave, I always wonder why I don't do it more often. Then the cycle repeats.
I chose to work from home today, becuase I can. I havent gone into the office for a full week, (I think) since I got my bfp. I have no shame in this. My team all works over seas and at home, except for me, so I feel dumb sitting in the office when no one knows who I am to begin with!
@Nxy I have done the same thing before. The worst is waiting for a cake to cool so you can decorate it!
@aehogan90 I used to live in a building where the showers didnt have anything I could put my foot on to shave, so I would just not do it. There were a few times when DH would ask me if I was going to, becuase he could see the hair on my legs. I have super fair skin and hair, so you usually cant tell, but if it gets super long, you can see it!

@aehogan90 Also guilty of the no shaving.. poor DH brushed his hand against my leg one night and was like OUCH. Amazingly, he still wants to have sex with me.
@Nxy YUM I'm glad it was worth it. What kind of pie??
@littlebug2010 No shame. I can't remember the last time I went into the office on a Friday. All my colleagues do the same. Currently sitting on my couch in sweatpants working. It's glorious. Enjoy your day at home!
My FFFC: I went almost 3 days in a row without showering this week. Ew.
@Nxy OMG Apple pie with some french vanilla ice cream sounds amazing right now! I might have to make that this weekend!

DH and I are going to make homemade cheese fondue for the first time ever this weekend. We just bought the cheese from the store (not a kit, actual blocks of cheese). I never really contextualized exactly how much cheese is in fondue. We're going to eat it all, and it's going to be fabulous. No shame.
So it's the last day before spring break at one of my schools and they let the kiddos have a dress down day. One of my kids wore a tshirt and colored leggings (probably something from Justice) the leggings weren't see through, but the tshirt didn't cover her behind (she's in 3rd). Her classroom teacher made her put on her personal long denim button up shirt to cover her "legs" aka her bottom. I guess my confession here is personally as a parent I chose and provided those items of clothing and okay'd them. She's a child and nothing was hanging out. I don't want another person deciding for me what's appropriate. I want to add they had to pay $2 to dress down. I almost told her to take the shirt off, but didn't want nasty eyes from her teacher.
Edit this is probably more a UO but whatever I'm here already lol
I can't wait to see what baby girl is going to look like, and I love when I go for appointments and get the Doppler or an ultrasound. But the 3D/4D ultrasound doesn't appeal that much to me. If it wasn't was free, cool. But I don't wanna spend $150-$350 for one of these because I always think they just look smushed and way less cute in those pictures. My sister did a side by side picture of my 2 yr old niece sleeping and she was in the same position as her 3D one, and sure you can tell it's her, but meh. I wouldn't want to pay for the picture. So free I'd be game, but charged I'll just wait to see her when she's born. But, I don't side eye anyone who would pay for theirs. It's exciting
@PinkPrincessPiper Maybe try watching a few episodes when you are up late with insomnia or nursing? Season 5 is my favorite season of Gilmore Girls. And I swear Friends gets funnier the further along you get in the series.
FFC- I kind of hate Friends. Rachel is the worst. Monica and Phoebe seem like caricatures. When I see a really old episode and realize that I'm now older than they supposedly were on the show, it's scary.
@cmmiller531 What on earth is the dress code at your school? I would say 3/4 of the girls K-5 at the school I work at wear leggings, whether or not a shirt or dress covers their behinds. In fact, now that I'm pregnant, I'm regularly wearing leggings.
@PinkPrincessPiper I second @Kudlica27, watch Gilmore girls when you are up at night. Its super light hearted, so you can still sleep after an episode, and you can start and stop them pretty easily. Season 4 is my favorite! But I have watched them all too many times to count! Ill probably re-start them when DH goes back to work after his leave.

My confession is that I hope most of my speech therapy kids are absent today so I don't have to see them. It's the day before spring break, and I'd rather do nothing.
I hate when people ask me where to park for whatever place we're planning to go.
You know what Google is, right? It has maps.
You also know that I don't have a crystal ball, right? I don't know how easy street parking will be or if a lot will be full due to some special event.
Just because I live in the city I must have some magical knowledge of parking. I fucking take public transportation because I fucking hate driving and finding parking.
The latest offender here is my older sister who's driving in tomorrow. Grrrrr.
@SpotConlon I definitely tried tagging myself to reply to you.... anyway they wear uniforms, they're a christian school so the $2 allowed them to wear their street clothes. I was just ticked off that the teacher made any kind of stink about her leggings. She's 8 let her enjoy her rainbow leggings.
@DeansGirl14 oh my god this x 100!!! Especially when they ask about somewhere not in the direct vicinity of where I live. Like, yes, I live in the city, do you know how big the city is? I do not know the parking rules/ options/ etc everywhere. Asking me about museum parking, last time I was there was a school field trip, how would I know?! I just tell everyone read the signs and use Spothero!

So far most of these confessions sound like normal life for me. So I guess I should confess that I didn't realize I should be confessing
Oh @middy411, please fill us in on your fabulous life! Or GTFO.
I'm not sure I get this? It was a joke about also not shaving... showering... and eating deliciously bad for you food. Is there a reason why I get attacked for agreeing with everyone else?

It sounded like you meant you do all these things regularly, in your "normal life", and we were being totally boring confessing our "normal life" stuff. So I wanted to know what kind of fabulous, flame-worthy confessions you might have.
My confession and probably also an UO: I'm not sure if my kid will have a crib. I wanna go the Montessori way but don't know how it will work. I did buy a book though, now I just need to read it.
@aehogan90 I shave my legs like 3x a year. And I've never shaved above my knees in my life. I ate doing it, hair doesn't bother me, the rest of the world can suck it.
@DeansGirl14 I was in LOVE with friends when it was on TV, and always caught reruns. We recently binged the whole series and WOW I never noticed there some wildly inappropriate jokes (by today's pc standards). So. Many. Homophobia. Jokes. Ugh.

I hate this too. Or even worse, when they ask about parking, I tell them my opinion, and then they think I'm wrong and don't listen. Yes, I'm sure that since you found street parking in the French Quarter one random weekday morning, we'll have no trouble at all on a Saturday during a festival. You know best!
