I was browsing around the site and found the Chinese Gender Chart - "said to be over 90% accurate in predicting your baby's gender." For those with kids: did it accurately predict the gender(s)?
It's been opposite both times for me. So if it's wrong again, I'm having a girl

It was right for 2 out of 3 DS's. It said the third one was supposed to be a girl, and surprise, another boy! This time it says I'm having another boy (I'm secretly hoping it's wrong again!).
Don't put much stock in it. Google image search Chinese gender chart and you will see that there are different charts. Most of those say my DD was a boy. The original chart is supposed to use your lunar age and the Chinese lunar calendar. The chart on the bump converts it to modern day making the months not quite line up. Either way, I put more faith in the anatomy scan or a blood test.

I agree but I am a firm believer in the heart rate old wife's tale!!!
It was right with DD and 70% of the wives tales pointed to boy. This time the chart says boy and 50% of the wives tales point to girl so it will be interesting to see.
@emucoleman here's a list! In spoiler because it's huge.
ETA: I'm not a believer in any of this stuff. I think I'm having a boy because I just feel it. So I could totally also be having a girl based on that scientific logic haha.
I am convinced I'm having a girl. And a bit nervous that my ultrasound is going to show twins... but I've been feeling the twin thing less in the past week. The girl thing I'm so sure. Apparently sometimes a woman just knows with no valid reasoning they just know. It's like intuition or something.... DH is hoping and praying for another boy.
@bcashaw I trust my I intuition lol. Last pregnancy everyone kept telling me girl girl girl so did the Chinese calendar but I knew in my heart it was a boy and confirmed it at the US.
This time I have mixed feelings and almost want to go team green, I think because I see myself as more of a boy mom and don't know what I will do if it's a girl. I just want a healthy baby regardless but I can't help the feeling that I'm in denial for thinking it's a girl.
@LadyBugMe101 we have decided to wait until the birth to find out so I've got a long way to go before finding out if I'm right! I honestly don't care what I get as long as it's healthy!
It was right for my DS -- we didn't know until he was born. I had several old wives' tales (and old ladies!) tell me it would be a boy as well. This time it says girl. Guess we will find out in Nov!
I just happened across this on WebMD the other day:
"A 2006 study showed no gender-related differences in fetal heart rate during the first trimester, but Mass says that's no surprise, considering that babies' hearts beat faster in general during the first 28 to 30 weeks of pregnancy. It's later in the pregnancy when the difference becomes apparent. A 1999 study showed that just before delivery, a female baby's heart does beat faster than a male's. Mass says she sees a similar trend in her own patients."

The chinese gender chart said girl for my first though, and that was right, so solid 50/50 over here.

The heartbeat old wives tale didn't work for my second son. His was always higher. But was true for my first son. It's all a crapshoot.
