How far along are you? 24 weeks!
What symptoms are you having and how does it compare to previous pregnancy/pregnancies? Bladder control is still my most annoying! Starting to have trouble getting a full breath/catching my breath and filling up really fast! Same as last time...
Rant/Rave/Questions? I have a question for any moms with 2 or more. Did you start your post-partum period around the same time with all your kids? I didn't get mine until I completely stopped breastfeeding at a year. Wondering if it will be the same this time or if it changes with each pregnancy?
Will your other kid(s) be home with you while on maternity leave? If so, do you have any ideas to keep them occupied/entertained when you're busy with baby? We will be changing daycares once I go back to work (we're at an in home daycare right now and she doesn't have room for the baby) Since I'll be off work for 4 months it just makes sense to pull DD out of daycare and keep her home with me to save some money and then start them both together at the new daycare when I go back to work. I'm getting nervous though about having an almost 2 year old and an infant at home by myself all day. I've started a sensory/creative play box with activities and things we can do together (so she still gets "mama time") and things she can do on her own while I'm nursing or busy and will look into outings like reading time at the library, the zoo etc when it gets closer so we can get out of the house too.
GTKY: What's your biggest traffic/other driver/driving related pet peeve? Absolutely people playing on their phones.

What symptoms are you having and how does it compare to previous pregnancy/pregnancies? Right now I'm having a hard time sleeping. I'm tired but I don't get that drowsy feeling in order to fall asleep. I don't remember this from last time. I started seeing stretch marks which I didn't experience with my first, although I found some at the bottom of my belly pp.
Rant/Rave/Questions? Finally she's moving. This time I have an anterior placenta so it took 8 extra weeks for me to start feeling her.
Will your other kid(s) be home with you while on maternity leave? If so, do you have any ideas to keep them occupied/entertained when you're busy with baby? Yes but I have a nanny. Once it's over DD1 will start daycare and the nanny will take care of DD2.
GTKY: What's your biggest traffic/other driver/driving related pet peeve? Lol I don't drive, I only take the subway. When I did drive years ago I was pretty calm. Not much bothered me.

Not many symptoms. Just feeling bigger than I did at the same point last time around.
Rant/Rave/Questions?
Starting to feel baby move more (anterior placenta) which is exciting, especially since I haven't had any really uncomfortable kicks/stretches yet

I plan on our daughter being home with us full time the first week when my husband will be off work and home with us. After that I plan on having her home part time with me and the new little one. She typically spends the day with her Grandma while we are at work and have regularly scheduled outings (like story time and play groups at the local library). Her cousin is also watched by Grandma everyday so I think she will like getting back to doing some of that stuff too. Just haven't decided how the time will be split yet between home with me and time spent at Grandma's.

I dislike road rage/reactive behaviors. I get that some idiot just pulled out in front of you and made you angry, but driving as close as you can to him and honking/swerving is doing nothing productive and is more likely to cause an accident then anything else.
How far along are you? 27 weeks!
What symptoms are you having and how does it compare to previous pregnancy/pregnancies? I am feeling much better this week than I did last week. As I get bigger I realize the remaining time when I feel comfortable is limited, so I am trying to enjoy it while it lasts.
Rant/Rave/Questions? The bump gods randomly changed my name from Clio to clio-2. I have no idea why, and I am seriously annoyed (probably more so than I should be).
Will your other kid(s) be home with you while on maternity leave? If so, do you have any ideas to keep them occupied/entertained when you're busy with baby? Excellent question- to be honest, I haven't thought about it much! DD will stay home with me during the 8 or so weeks that I am home with baby and then I plan on having them home with me 2 days a week once I go back to work on a more part-time basis (just for another few months). Now I'm a little scared!
GTKY: What's your biggest traffic/other driver/driving related pet peeve? Texting while driving. I can't believe how many people actually do this.

What symptoms are you having and how does it compare to previous pregnancy/pregnancies? Heartburn+insomnia- same as others
Rant/Rave/Questions? Such a lame rant - went to Disneyland today for 11 hours and I'm SO damn tired, but I can't sleep due to pregnancy insomnia/not being able to get comfy! So lame, wahhhh me.
Will your other kid(s) be home with you while on maternity leave? If so, do you have any ideas to keep them occupied/entertained when you're busy with baby? We will keep our normal schedule, so they will go to the sitters on Tues/Th and be home with me the other days. Lucky for me it is summer, so DH will be home from work (teacher) so I'll have some help for a month or 2.
GTKY: What's your biggest traffic/other driver/driving related pet peeve? No turn signal - it's not that hard to use, just use it!!!

What symptoms are you having and how does it compare to previous pregnancy/pregnancies? Same, everything is the same. The only thing getting worse is SPD.
Rant/Rave/Questions? Nothing right now.
Will your other kid(s) be home with you while on maternity leave? If so, do you have any ideas to keep them occupied/entertained when you're busy with baby? Yes, DD is for 4 and DS is 2, right now daycare isn't an option. DH graduates in May,so once he's working then maybe it will be. Literally for the first week or two after I had DS, DD lived on fruit snacks, popsicles, lunchables, and tinker bell. No shame.
GTKY: What's your biggest traffic/other driver/driving related pet peeve? People being on their phones. DH is bad about it, he even gets on facebook. It drives me nuts.

What symptoms are you having and how does it compare to previous pregnancy/pregnancies? Same ole same ole
Rant/Rave/Questions? SPRING BREAK NOW PLEASE
Will your other kid(s) be home with you while on maternity leave? If so, do you have any ideas to keep them occupied/entertained when you're busy with baby? We were actually just talking about this! DS's preschool has a 4 week summer camp program. We think we'll do some activities over the summer, too. DH stays at home, so it will be less difficult, thankfully.
GTKY: What's your biggest traffic/other driver/driving related pet peeve? Not using a turn signal and driving too close.

What symptoms are you having and how does it compare to previous pregnancy/pregnancies? This week it is the bad heartburn coming back, it's actually a lot more mild compared to my first pregnancy so I am thankful but still a pain at night.
Rant/Rave/Questions? nothing this week!
Will your other kid(s) be home with you while on maternity leave? If so, do you have any ideas to keep them occupied/entertained when you're busy with baby? My twins will be home with me but my husband should also be able to take some time off as well so that should be helpful, the twins start preschool when this baby is about 6 weeks so I am hoping that will help a ton.
GTKY: What's your biggest traffic/other driver/driving related pet peeve? tailgating is my huge pet peeve!
