Feeling her move alot more often now. Definitely getting a bigger bump too. Nausea has returned a bit this week, but no puking (knock on wood).
Rants/Raves/Questions? Not really
GTKY: What family traditions do you plan to continue with your little ones? This one is random but I LOVED it as a kid. On my birthday, my mom would wrap and hide all my presents around the house and we'd play the hot/cold game to find them!
Any new symptoms or changes? Ok so, this is gross but... I had a regular mole on my chest basically become a blood blister. It's so gross; once it started bleeding when I scratched an itch there and wouldn't stop so I had to see a doctor to get it cauterized. And then it reformed! The urgent care doctor said I was just unlucky and wasn't concerned. Then I saw an OB a couple weeks later and she wasn't concerned, saying "our skin does weird stuff during pregnancy." But I hate it, it's this ugly red blemish that shows almost no matter what shirt I wear. So I made a dermatologist appointment. There's got to be something they can do besides rule out melanoma, hopefully. I've had two "suspicious" moles removed in the past just to be safe, and I had a pre-cancerous lesion on my cervix a few years ago. So I'm really nervous about cancer. Ughhhh.
Rants/Raves/Questions? Eh, nothing really. Just happy that baby movement is picking up.
GTKY: What family traditions do you plan to continue with your little ones? I don't think we've given this much thought. My side of the family is British so every Christmas we have crackers and wear our silly paper crowns. DH's family really doesn't have "traditions" that I know of either (unless you count Thanksgiving, Easter, and Christmas dinners with various other family members). I wish I could continue my family's annual camping trip tradition but DH actually hates camping. Loves fishing, hates camping, for whatever reasons. Maybe there's a way to combine the two in the future.
Any new symptoms or changes? Have been feeling this pressure on my upper abdomen right in the center under my rib cage/bra line area. No pain at all, just a weird pressure when I am sitting down. My OB said it is probably baby pushing up on my organs? So weird! Just hoping that is all it is. Baby did his first big "kick" yesterday! Startled me! I've have frequently felt the flutters, but this was a big kick. I saw it move my belly too! It was very exciting!
Rants/Raves/Questions? (Rant) Our gender reveal party went well. MIL didn't bring anything extra, like I feared. However, after the reveal, she was going around telling everyone how she "knew" it was a boy because I didn't squeal... which according to her that means I wasn't excited. So now a good portion of my friends and family have been approaching me and trying to encourage me that boys are good too. It was embarrassing and annoying to have to explain to each one of them that I am thrilled it's a boy, and that I did not have a preference.
MIL also hates my nursery theme choice. A lot of people were asking me at the party. When I told them about it and MIL was present, she would proceed to make fun of my ideas. UGH. Makes me wonder what she is going to be like when the baby is born...
GTKY: What family traditions do you plan to continue with your little ones? For me, the biggie was being with family during holidays. But now with DH it might be hard. He works at Disneyland so getting holidays off is next to impossible. Also, his family has A LOT of division due to his parents divorce, and some drama on his mom's side that we don't know anything about. Its something I have a hard time understanding, because my family gets along. I'm worried about holidays now being chaotic for LO, but I really want him to know his family.
Upcoming appointments this week? Nope, not till the end of this month
Any new symptoms or changes? Just feeling a bit more movement, which is a blast
Rants/Raves/Questions? Excited that I get to home this weekend and every weekend I have left (3) of my month out-of-state contract. Can't wait to be done!
GTKY: What family traditions do you plan to continue with your little ones? My mom found a recipe for a bunny cake the year I was born and made it for me every year at Easter until I left home. I made it last Easter with my SDs and we are making it this weekend too. I even have the original recipe from the magazine almost 30 years ago...hope we keep it up till the kids are all grown.
How big is baby? Bump says a Grapefruit at 11 inches. What? Ovia says a Barbie doll
Upcoming appointments this week? tomorrow is my April appointment. It's crazy that May is my last rmonthly and then I move to e/o week.
Any new symptoms or changes? Baby movement is so strong! I have been feeling him since about 15 weeks but he seems to have hulked out lately!
Im also starving all the time
Rants/Raves/Questions? Im so hungry all the time! I eat and im hungry very shortly after. But a lot of food just tastes "off" to me randomly so it's hard to plan out my day and bring enough food to work.
GTKY: What family traditions do you plan to continue with your little ones?
My family didnt gave a lot a lot of traditions. We always got a new ornament each year for Christmas and I'm doing that. I started my own tradition where I take each child out for their birthday for lunch and whatever else they want to do.
@morgy_bee regarding the size, lol. I think when the baby is all curled up in there, as they are, they're grapefruit sized. But measuring crown to heel is 11 inches. They can't exactly stand in there.

It's pretty spot on otherwise. I just thought this week was weird. I can't stop imagining a giant grapefruit at the store lol.
Upcoming appointments this week? I just had a second A/S to see the spine and feet- that was pretty neat.
Any new symptoms or changes? My back and hips hurt all the time. And there's this sciatica business that just makes me feel old. I actually grunt and groan when standing up/sitting down.
Rants/Raves/Questions? The movement is pretty cool. But I kind of wish they were big enough for DH to feel too.
GTKY: What family traditions do you plan to continue with your little ones? I don't really have any family traditions left. However, we're talking about a yearly vacation with a group of friends and our kids, as they're all going to be right around the same age.
@maryallisont we have always done an annual couple's beach trip with our friends, and this will be the first year one of us has a kid. Next year there will be three, as my friend is due two weeks before me! I think having annual friend trips with kids is such a good idea!!
Rants/Raves/Questions? Still waiting for this one to kick! GTKY: What family traditions do you plan to continue with your little ones? We have a few started. We took my SS to Great Wolf Lodge for our honeymoon, so we try to take the boys there at least once year. We make sugar cookies for Christmas with my mother. We have a hard time making holiday traditions because we alternate holidays with my SS. I would love to start some when they start school as well.
@Maryallisont & @NatSprat0703 we have friends that do a friends trip and it looks so fun! My husband and I need to find more couples to hang out with so we can do the same!

Nope.
