@BigBadWolf12 I'm so glad your midwife gave you a scan and that everything looked good! I know you were pretty anxious so that must be a huge relief to not have to wait until your A/S!
@ColoradoHiker good luck with your insurance company!
eta @dogdisnylovr I was wondering about rings too. Mine were tight the other day, but I couldn't tell if it was just because it was much warmer out than usual or if it was actual finger swelling. Hoping it was the former!
How far along are you? 14+6
@dogdisnylovr I count Disney as a genre...is it too late to change my answer??
@RedBreast35 I know what you mean about "omg, I'm not obsessed with ttc or making it through 1st tri anymore....now what?" Lol

no cravings really... still puking every morning, I'm kind of over that..
nothjng really.
Sucks... sleep has been very intermittent since DS was born, he's a terrible sleeper. But now i just cant fall back to sleep after I wake up to pee sooo there's that.
comedy hands down. I hate horror movies and everything else is ok but I live a good laugh!

Rant: I hate how you have to wait so long for Dr. at these check-ins. They did my weigh in when I got there and I haven't gained any weight, so I was convinced something was wrong. After 15 minutes of agonizing in a small room, the doctor arrived. ugh.
The dreams are weird and occasionally wake me up. Had a phase of super uncomfortable-ness. But finding my groove.
Action for sure. It can have the worst plot-line and I'll still think it's great.

@RedBreast35 now I want lemon cookies. I'm glad you're feeling more calm with life!
@Cats*in*space I like how your H told his coworkers. My H told everyone (except his boss) at lunch by saying "so the wife's knocked up". Apparently they were all really surprised though lol. Was the Dr conceded about your lack of weight gain?
I can't believe how close we are to anatomy scans already!
Rant: I have to meet with a high risk Dr today. She is going over some test results for my high BP and going to decide if I can stay with my MW.
Comedy or super hero movies.

@ChefRamsay I hope your BP isn't too high, are they worried about pre-eclampsia? My midwives will only take low risk cases, so anything like pre-e or twins, etc, gets shifted over to the OB side of the office. ETA- How was the appt, did you find out???
DS2: EDD- 09.08.17
@Sugargirl1019 I particularly liked LuND's flow chart lol. Maybe trying giving your pup a rawhide or treat. He can't bark if he's busy chewing on something!
@ColoradoHiker good luck fighting for your STD! I wouldn't be surprised if they just denied you hoping you wouldn't fight back against it. My MW is a little worried about pre-e, if I did have it should wouldn't be able to keep seeing me. All my tests came back good though, my liver and kidneys are just fine and there was no protein in my urin. I naturally have high BP so I wasn't too worried about it. They did see during the u/s that I have a 2 vessel cord (instead of 3) so that will need extra monitoring. I'm trying to stay away from Google so I don't freak myself out.
And for those of you that are wondering....we are having a baby Girl!

@ColoradoHiker I hope you get your short-term disability approved and soon!
@RedBreast35 Uhh...I miss chocolate too! I have always had a sweet tooth but since getting pregnant I want absolutely nothing sugary. Probably a good thing, but I miss it!
@jillibean0871 I don't think my wedding ring with make it much longer either. Boo for morning sickness! Hopefully it eases up really quickly!
@ChefRamsay YAY for baby girl! Hopefully your BP isn't high and you get to stay with your MW. I generally have high BP at the Dr. and I was instructed to monitor it for a week at home. Thankfully right now it is normal but I'm sure it will be monitored closely. I am a anxious mess 110% of the time.
@sugargirl1019 I have no tips for how to stop a barking dog, but it does remind me of when my sister and I bought a "no bark" shock collar for our dog because he barked at every little noise. We wanted to make sure we wouldn't be hurting him and tested it out ourselves. My sister volunteered, put the collar on and I hit the button. Long story short, we threw it away immediately. We weren't going to torture our dog with that. So I have no ideas, but if you love your dog don't get a shock collar.
Has anyone had a glucose test yet? I haven't seen anyone mention it. I have 1 coming up before my anatomy scan but I'm wondering if I am having it done early possibly due to my weight. I didn't ask because I didn't think it was abnormal, but seeing as not many others have mentioned it yet, maybe it is abnormal.

@dogdisnylovr yes, it was so reassuring. And, I realized when the midwife was like, "the doctor can squeeze you in and give you an u/s today" and I had to wait a total of 5 minutes, if I had known I would get an u/s that day, I would have been a nervous wreck ALL day and probably all week leading up to it! So thankful I don't have to deal with nerves to that extreme leading up to the a/s. I'm sure I'll be nervous, but having a good 15 week scan is way more reassuring at 18 weeks (when I will have the a/s) than having a good 8 week scan.
