Hi all,
I've been lurking for a while and think it's finally time to join and introduce myself. I'm 39 (turning 40 later this month), and my husband and I have been trying to have a viable pregnancy for a little over a year now. Last year, we conceived twice--once in May, just after our honeymoon, only to find out that this was a missed miscarriage, and again in October, only to find out a couple of weeks after seeing the embryo's heartbeat at seven weeks that it had died.
I'm now about to start IVF with a FET (next week, just after my period starts, I'll start stimming) and then I think egg retrieval will be toward the end of this month, and hopefully the transfer will happen in June.
Everyone here seems knowledgable and friendly, and I look forward to sharing my journey with you. Right now I'm hopeful for a positive journey in spite of my previous losses.
