Rant: morning sickness came back this week
rave: I was able to eat a breakfast food I couldn't eat since being pregnant today!

GTKY: Do you have any weird/irrational fears?
I have this weird fear of escalators. I have to pretty much either find stairs or an elevator if there's an escalator around.

Any new symptoms or changes?
I feel him more, which eases my mind. Energy is good, appetite is good. Sleeping is awful. I started taking unisom and that helps a little but I still wake up. A LOT.

Pity party for one. Yesterday was my birthday and dh didn't get me anything. He used to be really good at picking up what I wanted but the past few years have been disappointing and I just keep lower any expectations I may have.

I sometimes get thoughts in my head, like I won't let ds walk around holding a straw cup because I'm afraid she'll trip and it will poke her eye out.

GTKY: Do you have any weird/irrational fears? I can't go over bridges under water because I feel like they might collapse so I speed through them fast.

Any new symptoms or changes? My boobs just won't stop growing and my nipples have been hard for like 20 hours a day lately. We have a cooler and freezer at work I sometimes need to go into to grab things and it's downright painful. I almost feel like they are already full of milk...which might be true I guess!
Rants/Raves/Questions? Im trying hard not to gain as much this time around but I am freaking hungry constantly. It's so hard!
GTKY: Do you have any weird/irrational fears? My fears are all pretty substantiated. But I feel like I spend a bit too much time worrying about stuff in general. My most irrational probably is my fear of bats. I AM TERRIFIED. Like we had one at work and I started crying uncontrollably. But in reality I have only come across maybe 3 in my whole 31 years of existence. I refuse to even go near that section at the zoo.

Just came back from our a/s, where everything is as it should be. Anterior placenta, though, which bums me out a little bit that I have to wait longer to really feel kicks.

My skin is getting ever more sensitive. I think my soap is irritating my skin, even though it's made of like 5, all-natural ingredients and I've used it for months no problem.

Mannequins. I hate going to shopping malls because mannequins freak me out so badly. When I was a littlw kid, a store hired people to model in the window and hold still, and my mom took me to see them. Later that day we ran into them again in the building elevator and I thought they'd all come alive!
@Kathryn0903 - that really sucks you still have morning sickness!
@clrgrdfrk - I would be pretty pissed if DH didn't get me anything either, not even a card or cake?

Nope but we had our AS last Friday and all was well! It's such a relief to be past that milestone

I thought my breakouts were getting better but nope, I feel your pain @dinofreak I randomly ordered some charcoal soap off of Amazon to see if it helps my itchy skin

I'm so sick of it raining all the time! I just want to see the sun! I have high hopes it'll be nice for the weekend.

i don't think it's weird necessarily but I have probably and overly irrational fear of wasps/hornets. I'm constantly looking around the outside of the house and such for nests for DH to destroy. I think I've only been stung like one time in my whole life so I don't know why I hate them so much.

GTKY: Do you have any weird/irrational fears?
I probably have several fears that most people would see as weird, but working at a large trauma hospital has shown me the worst of the worst of what can happen to people. I can't think of anything in particular right now, but I am constantly assessing risk. What looks like a fun activity to someone else could look like a death trap to me. My fears seem completely rational to me but probably not to someone else.
