Let's face it, sometimes being a mom gets hard. We all LOVE our kids, but it can be easy to get bogged down and miss the little happy moments. For those of us with depression or anxiety it can get even harder. I've made it a goal of mine for April to notice the little moments in my life that make me happy.
I want this thread to be a place where we can post happy moments. Big or small, or even silly. They can be kid related or not. Please join in. Let's help each other celebrate the little things that make us smile
Re: Happy moments
Today after work Savannah was cranky and DH won't be home until 10. Instead of taking a nap with her, mopping around or feeling bad for myself I strapped her in the Ergo and went for a walk. She loved seeing everything since she's normally in the stroller facing me

This crabby face makes me laugh, here he is doing his first long term "lean stand" after I abandoned him. He got happy after he realized he was in a good position to beat on the cat. Being home with my kids makes me exhausted and crabby a lot of the time so it's nice to take time to remember that I actually do enjoy it.
Edited to say: that makes me sound kind of like an alcoholic. Promise, it was more a 'stick it to the man' moment.

Took this little cutie to the beach today and she LOVED it. I'm so glad because I love the beach too, so I look forward to taking her all summer and playing in the water when it gets warmer.
