This morning I pestered DH to go back into our bedroom and get my phone and got so aggravated with him when he couldn't find it...and then an argument later realized it was in my pocket. Blaming it on pregnancy brain.
I was talking to my sister on the phone while walking thru the grocery and DH beeped in. I switched over and after my convo with him, hung up. A couple minutes later, my sister texted me that I could call back whenever. I had completely forgotten! Totally blamed it on baby.

@DuchessOfCambridge I never believed in pregnancy brain, says the FTM, but dammit I keep forgetting ish and I normally have an amazing memory. And my memory seems delayed, like I'll remember it eventually but it takes a moment to get there. It's rough at work because everyone relies on me to remember details of all our protocols. Nope. Not right now.
While laying in bed last night DH and I were watching TV I for the life of me couldn't figure out why our remote kept going backwards while searching through channels. Turns out I had the remote upside down.
A few days ago DH asked me to bring him some water. I made an ice water glass. But I brought him my deodorant instead.
Also washed the remote control to our TV from our bedroom in the laundry. I took it out of the sheets so I wouldn't wash it and then threw it in the washing machine after I loaded all the sheets. We had to buy a new one.
Yesterday I got DS's dairy free yogurts for day care out of the fridge and put the bag on the counter to grab on our way out.
We're almost to day care and I realize I left the yogurts on the counter. I check the day care bag when we get to there and don't see the yogurts so I know I have to go back home to put them away or they'll go bad. They're not cheap so I had no choice.
I get home and the yogurts are no where to be found. Not in the kitchen, fridge, freezer, bedrooms, bathrooms, living room, dining room, couch, closet, my bag...they're not there. I text our day care provider and of course they're in his day care bag.
I can't tell if I am better or worse than I think.
DH and I had to drive 4 hours to pick up supplies for our business this week, then turn around and drive home (all this after I got off work at lunch), so I made a couple of smoothies for us to drink on the way. I only remembered that I had done so when I found them at the end of our drive. I felt so stupid and wasteful. Sigh. Also, trying to teach a classroom of students when the right words just won't come out of my mouth. The struggle is real.

Last weekend we went to breakfast at Mimi's Cafe. In addition to my breakfast, I got a banana chocolate chip muffin that was delicious, and only ate half of it, so I got a to go box. Well, when putting DS in the car I stuck it on the roof. I realized about 4 hours later that I didn't ever actually put it in the car. And then I cried.
Yesterday, DS and I ran to target and I got an iced tea at the Starbucks there. He was being a total butt when we got home, and my arms were full of bags that I didn't even notice that I forgot it on the roof of my car in our garage. DH got home with dinner and texted me to come down that he needed help. He just wanted to see the look on my face when I realized I had forgotten my tea for about 4 hours.
Apparently I need to stop putting things on the roof of my car.

Yesterday I left for work and then had to turn around because I forgot something. Then I left again and had to turn around AGAIN because I remembered something else. Today I only had to turn around once and dang I felt proud.
I just went to the same grocery store I go to every week. Leaving, I somehow got lost, ended up at some apartment complex I've never seen before, asked a cop for help, then remembered gps exists.
Someone at work kept asking me a question and it was a yes or no kind of question and all I kept replying was thank you. And he goes, 'so does that mean a yes or no?' and I repeated thank you till I saw his confused look and totally tried to correct the situation by saying,'oh I meant yes thank you for checking with me'. I'm sure he thought I'm a total wacko.
I tried to set our security system before leaving, and I couldn't remember our code so I couldn't turn it on. I asked DH this morning, and already forgot again. I've used this code nearly every day for 3.5 years!
@kaitieb14 I pulled a diaper out of the hamper the other day, put it on top of the washer, and then absent mindedly tossed it in the washer once the clothes were in there and washed it. Ugh!
I got to work today and pulled out my car keys and clicked my car unlocking doodad at my classroom door repeatedly and then was angry that it wouldn't open....

@TallMomma29 I did the same thing the other day, except I realized I washed it, took it out so I wouldn't put it in the dryer, and then dried it anyways!
In my first pregnancy, I went to Motherhood Maternity around 6 weeks so my mom could buy me a couple of things because she was excited. I signed up for their little new mom pack of coupons and stuff, and the free year of a magazine, and when she asked for my address I literally could not remember it. We had lived in our house for almost 6 months.

I space out midsentence and yesterday for the first time, since childhood, I stuttered! My brain feels like it's on the fritz. And I have less of a filter/patience for stupid than before. A student asked me what was going on and I replied/yelled across the room "don't ask whats going on if you have your phone out texting! Maybe if you put the phone down once in a while you'd know what we are talking about instead of randomly calling out trying to barely pay attention!" The students, all seniors, looked at me in shock then laughed because normally I am very quiet and have more patience than most but damn this baby brain and bitchy hormones for the lack of filter. Normally I would just think those things to myself and not say them out loud.
