Last night I went to the er for ovarian pain as I had cysts. They did an ultra sound, and by dates I'm 4w5d however by measure I'm over 5 weeks. The ultrasound was inconclusive since I'm still early, so I understand they wouldn't see anything. I go back tomorrow for blood drawn to make sure I'm progressing as I should. It still makes me nervous as last time I had to do the blood levels, I found out it we miscarried. My question is: if the baby is measuring slightly bigger than dates, would this be a good sign than all is well?

    I don't think it's really a sign one way or another. In early pregnancy it's normal for a baby to measure up to one week larger or smaller than their projected due date, because babies grow at different rates. Good luck on your beta draws! Try not to worry until you have a reason to.

    It's a good sign but only for today. It doesn't mean anything this early though. However I agree that you should try not to worry until you have reason to.  Good luck!
