Help! BM issues!

Hey ladies! Hopefully this isn't TMI. But this is my first pregnancy. The past couple of days I had diahrea. Now today I can't go and my belly is bloated. Is there anything to help this? TIA.

  • Colace will be your best friend. And possibly a Squatty Potty. Just trust me on this one lol.

  • Your body also needs a lot more water, which could contribute to the constipation. Make sure you're well hydrated and yes to stool softeners.

  • Similar issues here...Ok, tell me if this is normal.  TMI warning!  I had constipation (I know that's normal-and especially for me.)  Now that is gone and replaced with it's fun counterpart...diarrhea.  I've had it on/ off for the past few days.  Then, I woke up at 1am this morning and had the chills, diarrhea, and major vomiting.  Is this all normal?  Vomiting, of course, I know people have, but that's the first time I did.  It's the diarrhea and chills I am mainly concerned about.  Thanks

@LoveDontCostAThing If I were you, I'd just put in a quick call to your OB nurse line and let them know what's going on and see what they say. Of course, vomiting and a variety of other GI issues are considered normal during pregnancy, but the chills that you mention might signal something else.
  • hey, the nurse thinks I might have a bug/ virus :(

  • Try probiotics. Those help with both diarrhea and constipation.
