Re: Thursday Ticker Change 3/30
22 Weeks
A coconut or sports water bottle
Nope, but I can't believe how soon I will switch over to 2 week appointments... eek!
Still having a lot of pubic bone/pelvis/round ligament pain, especially when I stand up.
Tons of discharge this week
Lower back pain to the max
Itchy skin around my belly button
Tons of baby movement
I have been walking on the trail right outside my office daily. Yesterday the lower back pain kicked in about 3/4 of the way through my walk. Then shortly after I was back in the office I had severe back pain like a pulled muscle. I am pretty miserable still. This is the second time I have jacked my back up this pregnancy. It's really irritating
This is a hard one. My grandma always fed me weird stuff when I was little that I wouldn't touch now. This includes liver and onions, chicken liver/gizzards, fried pork brain etc...
I also love to mushroom hunt in early spring and eat fried morel mushrooms.
Strange? Idk you tell me...

11 inches
None for a while.
Starting to feel a lot of restlessness while trying to sleep. Even with my maternity pillow I'm turning a lot.
We are having a little gender reveal party for our family and friends at a park this Saturday. I am super prepared, and have gotten everything together in advance. MIL still seems to doubt me because she keeps asking me what she can do. It's BYO picnic, so I asked her to pull together mine and DH's picnic for us so I have one less thing to worry about. I am holding my breath, because I have this sinking feeling she is going to show up with decorations and such, even though I told her not to. She already embarrassed me once at my bridal shower my best friend threw for me by bringing extra food and decorations without asking. I guess I'm just paranoid from that still.
I'm not one to be adventurous with food. That's more DH's area. The weirdest thing I probably ate was this strange stringy seaweed salad at the Disney Food & Wine Festival. It was good... but... crispy/crunchy/rubbery in texture. And very salty.
I know the gender/sex but we are not sharing yet. However, I keep slipping! If someone has caught me, they haven't said!
I ate alligator in Florida. My grandma would cook cow tongue, but I never gave in and tried it.
@bumpybump How old is DD? My LO squeezes between me and the snoogle, so I can still use the bottom half. then I use another pillow up top. If I wake up and he's on the other side, I steal it back. He likes to touch too, and last night it drove me nuts!
Rants/Raves/Questions? Rant- I need winter to be done. With my protruding belly, the zipper teeth of my winter coat are rubbing my shirts and making them pill. Ugh! My spring jacket has buttons, come on.
Rave- Baby finally kicked hard enough for DH to feel her. The look on his face was priceless!
... Then she rolled in such an uncomfortable manner that either her head or her ass was firmly against my abdomen, which felt super weird for 30 seconds. Haha.
Sea Urchin. Had it at a sushi restaurant. It tasted like a sweet potato that'd been marinating in the ocean. The consistency was weird too, I don't recommend.
@bumpybump blood pudding and brain pudding?! eek!
@Feliciosity That sounds like something my MIL would do!! I hope everything goes smoothly and she let's you do everything your way!
also, rant is my MIL. She was at my house yesterday while some builders were working on it, and she felt the need to reorganize some of my kitchen. She took pot holders out of their drawer, placed them on the counter, and put the rest in a single layer in the drawer. Then went in my front garden and chopped all of my hibiscuses. They were dead from the flood and I'd been needing to do it, but she chopped them TO THE GROUND! I was going to leave a little bit of stalk left for them to regrow.
Nice job on the half at 18 weeks, wow! (And kangaroo... wow.)
I forgot to mention that I'll be visiting family all of next week and probably not on here much. Would anyone be willing to start this thread next Thursday?
