Mommy Boxes

I recently got a FabFitFun box and absolutely loved it. But the more I think about it, I would rather get mommy items right now. So, I was wondering if any of you guys have tried out any baby/mommy boxes like Bluum, Mama Bird, Bump Box?

Also, I did a quick search and didn't see anything related to this, so if there's something please forgive me and point me in the right direction!

I haven't even heard of this before, I had to google. It looks kind of like BirchBox, but for pregnancy related stuff. If you don't get much feedback here, I'd recommend looking for reviews on google, I'm sure lots of mom-to-be bloggers will have something to say!

I have been considering it. They send you stuff inline with your trimester etc.

Thanks @ColoradoHiker. I have looked into them on each website, was just wondering if anyone had tried them yet. Didn't even think to seek out mommy bloggers!

@labby18 yes, I love that it's in line with each trimester. I really want to try one, I just don't know which one.

That's exactly what I thought too. Right after we brought DS home DH referred to him as being "brand new, fresh out of the box" and then he said "Well not exactly out of the box because you had a c-section..."

Ok- so I got my mommy box (Bump Box) and I'm a little underwhelmed.

Included was:

-One "Healthy Mama" protein energy drink
-150 count of "Healthy Mama" heartburn relief chewable tablets
-21 piece "Preggy Pop Drops"
-"Blum Naturals" makeup remover towelettes
-"Glow Organics" energize bath bomb (that smells great!)
-"NomoNausea" sea band type thing
-"Mambino" trial size body wash
-"Beanitos" bag of nacho cheese flavored chips.

I don't know if it would be worth the $50 for each trimester, but I am glad I got this one at a discounted price. I will be cancelling this box.

@cmar1006 Was this the 1st or 2nd trimester box? Seems like some of this stuff might be better for 1st trimester. Thanks for sharing!

@mrsmarygs I guess since I am 13 weeks they sent me the 1st tri box. Hmm.. maybe I should see if they'll let me exchange it!

@cmar1006 I'm just curious if the 2nd trimester box is more geared toward fitness, healthy snacks, maybe even maternity clothing or bump wrapping (that might be more 3rd tri). 2nd tri and 3rd tri might have a little more "bang for your buck."

So I got my MamaBird Box today. It is geared to 2nd trimester, well packaged. The chapstick is nice. Not sure if i want another tho... I will ask my doc on Monday about the probiotics and prenatals. Interested it tasting the tea and trying the hair mask. This box is $35/mo.
