Twatwaffle Tuesday 03.28.17

Re: Twatwaffle Tuesday 03.28.17

  • My government professor is a twatwaffle. Our grades primarily depend on our writing assignments, and there only five of them. I have had my previous assignment turned in for month and it still hasn't been graded... right now, I have an 80.4% in this class, am too close to a C for comfort, and I just want to know what my grade is BEFORE I turn in this next assignment next week!
  • Loading the player...
  • ^^that would make me so mad! All assignments need to be graded before the next one is due. You gotta know how hard you need to work for the next one haha
  • This horribly painful hair bump that is right at/under my c section incision is a TW. This thing hurts like hell!  All I can think to do is hot compresses.
  • @Ladybug2821 That sounds terrible =( forgive my ignorance, but what is a hair bump?

@fitlady21 Right?? I just need the feedback is all... I have been having a hard time with my citations because in this class we use MLA formatting, and in my others it is strictly APA formatting, and I keep making formating errors =/ I think I'm getting better about it, but it sure would be nice to know for sure before I turn in ANOTHER paper
  • @AllyTheKid Oh sorry, I guess most people would call it an ingrown hair. I think hair bump is probably a term that H and I came up with. We have our own language lol.
  • Oh, Doi... I should have been able to figure that out haha  :p@Ladybug2821
  • I have a real TW today and I am pissed. I have meetings every Thursday that partially take place the same time I pump. I informed the manager (who is not my mgr btw) that I will be late but will try to pump 15 mins earlier to minimize the lateness. Well today I got caught up helping a customer so I had to pump later. He actually sent someone for me who found me as I was coming out of my pumping office to put the BM away. After the meeting I asked him if he read my email that informed him of my schedule since he is known for ignoring emails. We basically went back and forth and in short he told me not to help customers before his meeting so I can pump on time. Ummm what mgr says this?? I told him regardless I will always be late to his meetings. I'm also pissed at myself because I should've never told him I'd be there by 9:15 because my pumping schedule can change or I may have to increase the time. What even makes me more mad is that his meeting is a complete waste of time and he already knew everything he asked me. I'm going to have to pull the pumping laws/requirements because I have a feeling I need to prepare for a fight.
  • @Ladybug2821 That makes me angry for you- and it really sounds like he's just trying to flash his authority card.
  • @AllyTheKid Yeah he can be a dick but I'm not putting up with his bs. He really doesn't want me to get HR involved and I surely will if I have to. I even re-read my email and I said I'll attend around 9:15 so I didn't give a hard time. I think I'll be petty next week and show up late on purpose.  He'll just have to get over it.
  • I'm proud of you, I've seen too many of my former post partum coworkers get bullied by supervisors (myself included), and it's great that you aren't going to tolerate it.
