How many months have you been TTC? We are just starting our journey - I had my IUD out recently and am in my first cycle of us trying.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? So far just the prenatals and charting on FF which I think I am starting to get the hang of.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) We have three dogs and one elderly cat, no kids. We both work full time in fairly high pressure jobs. In my spare time I love to cook and took up spinning about three months ago which I am loving as I can do it from home using Peloton App and my cheap spin bike.
Thanks for the welcome, TTC ladies!

Hi everybody! I've been lurking for awhile and will continue to lurk as I get the hang of things.
Ages (you and SO): I'm 29 and he's 34
How many months have you been TTC? I guess technically next month will be the official start. We've been talking about it for a year and I went off BCPs in January, thinking it would take three months for my cycle to regulate again, based on my past history. Low and behold, I've had two 28 day cycles and I'm on my way for a third. The only problem I see so far is I have ZERO EWCM. I was off BCPs for five years and charted the whole time so I am familiar with my body and I always had EWCM. I'm hoping it's after effects of BCPs and not a new normal for my aging body... starting to wonder if I'm having phantom temp shifts haha
What are you doing to get knocked up? I'm taking prenatals, vit D chewies, and a fish oil daily. Temping and CM. I think that's it for now. Have some OPKs in my Amazon cart but haven't pulled the trigger yet.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) I'm a teacher and am obsessed with planning a future kid's arrival around my job. I know I need to cut that crap out though. We have a hilarious golden doodle who should probably be a cartoon character. No human kids yet.
I'm looking forward to getting to know you all!
On spinning - it is hard but definitely fun and I like being able to do it at home - cuts out the travel time to the gym and also the excuses.
How many months have you been TTC? 3 months/3 cycles
WAYDTGKU? prenatals, CM, reducing stress (haha yeah right), Opk, charting.
Tell us about yourself: From San Diego and have one fur baby/cat that pretends she's a toddler. Work as an in home behavioral therapist and currently in school to become a full time special education teacher. Husband works as a sport sales/tech rep and is on the road quite often for business.
We got married last August on our 7th anniversary of dating, and currently TTC. Haven't told families our intentions, would be better to keep them out of the loop until something actually happens
*edited because my phone posted too early haha*
Decided to join this again after using our first time around a few years ago.
Ages (you and SO): 31 and 38
How many months have you been TTC? 6 months
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? OPKs and Period Tracker App
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) We have a 2 year old son that is the light of my life. He is silly, independent and loving. He is going to keep us on our toes for sure. We have two dogs, one loves to play with my son and the other would rather just lay around on his own. I am a project manager and my husband works in he school district.
I am starting to worry that this could be Secondary Infertility as my first two pregnancies (the first one ended in a miscarriage at 16 weeks due to Trisomy 13) we got pregnant on the first try. I ended up with a c-section due to a long labor, baby had the cord around his neck and was getting stressed and am also wondering if there is something going on there. I do have an appointment next month with my OB to talk about all these issues.
Look forward to getting to know you all and see you all graduate.

Hi @wabash15, I am not trying to borrow a problem, it is a real concern for me that my C-section is effecting me, not just due to 6 attempts but also other things that have been different since my C-section. I just wanted to share my story and see if anyone else was experiencing the same thing. I also did not mean for that to insult or down play those who have been diagnosed and are experiencing any kind of IF. Things have changes since I was last on and I thought this was a general TTGP board. There used to be other boards for after MC and IF. It did not even cross my mind.
Thanks for your well wishes.

What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? We are in the beginning of our second IVF cycle, 4th day of meds. First IVF cycle was 11/2014 which resulted in a beautiful baby girl born in August 2015.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) I started lurking and joined in 2014 and am now rejoining. I married late at 37. My husband and I knew we wanted a baby right away. We tried for 3 months on our own to try to get pregnant by using ovulation predictor kits. When it didn't happen, we immediately sought help by seeing a fertility specialist. I had a low egg reserve. We did 2 cycles of IUI that failed. The next step was IUI with injectibles. With the price of the medications, we decided to instead of IUI, the best solution was IVF. We were lucky and with our first IVF cycle, we got pregnant. Now, 2 years later, we are trying again. This time with me closer to age 40 and an even lower egg reserve. The first IVF cycle, we did not have any quality embryos to freeze so this cycle will be a fresh cycle. Hope to get to know everyone!
Intro'd on the infertility board last week, but also doing so here because we aren't active in our infertility treatments this month.
Ages (you and SO): I am 33, DH 38
How many months have you been TTC? It has been 18 months since we started trying with intention, prior to that was NTNP for 12 months
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? We have tried a lot of different things throughout this journey, so we aren't doing all of this right now but: PNV, OPKs, tracking CM, Preseed, Trigger shots, Progesterone supplements, reducing stress, increasing dairy in my diet, eliminating hot yoga, taking cabergoline to reduce prolactin levels, blood test, genetic testing, hsg test, semen analysis test, monitoring lining and follicle size, laying down for 20 min following hio, putting feet up after hio, fertility yoga, and this month will try the whole pineapple after O for 5 days
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) Most of our lives revolve around friends, family and our jobs. I work for a tech startup (means lots of stress and long hours) and the hubby is in the entertainment industry. We both love our jobs on most days!
I was big into a heated vinyasa flow yoga class that I was going to 3-4 times a week that really helped with the stress and keeping the weight in check, but then was told by our RE to stop it. So now I am looking for a new outlet, while trying to fight off the weight gain from some of the meds/lack of working out regularly.
We don't have any kids or pets, waiting until we buy a house for the latter, but we have our favorite dog breeds picked out for when the day comes!

@vflux33 start-up life is insane! Honestly being the spouse of a startup worker is probably worse than being the worker, my DH has definitely done more than his share of cooking and housework this past year. Without his support I don't think I would be able to pull it all off.
@zamora_spin yes I should have clarified that a bit more. I read an article the other day about eating an entire pineapple in the 5 days following ovulation. You are supposed to buy a pineapple that isn't cut yet and eat the core as well. I don't think there is a lot of proven science behind it; I figure it is so close to being summer (at least here in SoCal) that it is a perfect excuse to eat pineapple. After 18 months of trying, I have to keep some fun in the process.

How many months have you been TTC? January 2017
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? Just prenatals and basic tracking of CM
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) We have a rescue pitbull who is getting quite sassy in his old age. SO and I enjoy board gaming and reading. I'm a big crafter and like cross stitch and crocheting!
Ages (you and SO): I am 27 and my husband is 35.
How many months have you ben TTC?Went off BC in September (Nuvaring). NTNP for the first 2 months followed by 4 months of actually trying. At first I was planning on being totally laid back about this whole thing, and I am for the most part, but I guess I kind of surprised myself with how much I find it is on my mind. Maybe I thought it would have already happened? Naïve, I know. I got my first + OPK Wednesday around noon and I am assuming I O’d either Thursday or Friday, so that puts me around 2-3 DPO in the TWW.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGNU)? PNV, OPKs, and monitoring CM. Not tempting and probably won’t for a while, I don’t think it is right for me right now. Actually tempting SHOULD be right up my alley as far as having data to look at/analyze, but my BBT has always been weird and I don’t have consistent sleep hours. At this point I feel like it may introduce more stress and not worth the benefit for me right now. I am pretty sure I am ovulating and my cycles are fairly consistency (28-30 days). Although so many times I have questions and think “Well, if I could have pin pointed O that would be helpful,” but more as a peace of mind thing.
Tell us about yourself (kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc)? We have 2 dogs, no kids. My husband and I are both engineers and have a pretty high stress job with long hours, this is why I have lurked this page, but never joined. I am still trying to figure out if I will be able to consistently contribute to the daily threads since I mainly view on mobile a few minutes here and there waiting for a meeting to start, etc. I have been lurking this forum since around September- first weekly and now almost daily for the past couple month. It’s funny because although I have never joined the site until today, I feel like I already know some of y’all and get excited to see the weekly grad posts and wonder who it will be! I feel like that makes me sound like such a creeper- lol! Anyways, NO ONE knows we are TTC. I am a pretty private person and I am hoping this will give me the outlet I need sometimes!
@knottie1428628336 welcome! And I totally get the temping not right for you right now. I love data and analysis, but it also stresses me out a bit. I was also a lurker that finally joined this week! Look forward to seeing your posts!

@Knottie1428628336 I agree with @RVAmom315 just because it is kind of hard to tag you with all those numbers. Also I totally get the not temping thing. I started recently after being TTC for a year and it's messing with my sleep so much I'm already thinking of bailing (but I have erratic cycles so it is providing much needed data for me). Anyway, welcome!

How many months have you been TTC?
0. We are just getting started to start.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?
Off BC last Wednesday and started charting temps that day. We have Vitamin C and Zinc supplements for DH, prenatal vitamins for me. We have our stash of preseed, OPKs and pregnancy tests. Because of work conflicts we are hoping for a due date no sooner than January 22. We are TTA for a couple more weeks
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.)
We are a family of four with DH, SS, DD, and me. Stepson is 19 and he came to live with us 3 months after we got married for a trial period and he decided he wanted to stay. He is an amazing kid 98% of the time, when I’m irritated with him I knock it down to amazing 95% of the time. He is fully self sufficient with his college courses and waits tables at a nice restaurant. I’m really proud of him. He adores his baby sister.
I love to crochet cute baby things but finding the time to do it with DD around is about nil. I made several things for friends before I had a baby myself but haven’t gotten back to it. These days you can find me on the couch watching Disney movies with DD.
I work the day shift and DH works the evening shift. I joke that we are pretty much a single parent household Monday through Friday, I see him 30 minutes in the morning while we get DD up and ready for the day. We’ll squeeze BD in there somewhere I guess.
I’m so excited to be back here again. To be able to talk with other women that are focusing on the same goal! This is the best place to talk. I feel like family and friends that don’t have a baby making plan cannot relate to this, or worse they are bored out of their minds.
