Spotting

Anyone else had any spotting? 

Ive already had a still birth prior to my dd and am terrified of having a miscarriage. I had a little bit of spotting when I wiped today, which has made me worried. Anyone else had this?

    I haven't had spotting this pregnancy but with my son, I spotted for the first 12-13 weeks.  My OB said I had a "sensitive cervix".  Any time I would exercise a lot or have intercourse I would almost certainly spot.  My OB said only to worry if it was new blood (bright red) filling a pad in an hour or if I was passing clots.  That said, she wanted a call every time regardless.  It will ease your mind to call and be seen but know that it is possible to spot and everything be just fine.  Fingers crossed for you.

    I have had a few very small spots of blood after sex, but that's it. It's only a drop or two when wiping after, and I read that can be normal. I haven't brought it up to my doctor since it is so little and would think its like @av2323's explanation. So I try not to worry about it too much.

    My doc basically said the same thing @av2323 said re color and amount so I just try keep my feet up and rest as much as possible. Fx for you!

    October 2016- We became licensed foster parents
    November 9, 2016- Arrival of DD#1, 4yo
    March 1, 2017- 1 day late, feel like crap (low fever & exhausted) | Mom suggested test before taking meds, I laughed but did it anyway | BFP! *shock*

    With my first at around 6 weeks, I had some period-like blood. It was a few "gushes" in about a 6 hour span then stopped. I know it's more than what you've experienced, but I wanted to let you know that I still had a healthy boy.  Hopefully that brings some peace of mind.  If you experience any cramping, I would call your doctor.

    I had dark spotting after a lot of activity on Sunday. If its dark or brownish, this is nothing to worry about. Even bright red can sometimes be Ok. with #3 I had a few day of bright red spotting and he is a happy 4-YO now! Hugs. I hope you called the doctor and got a little peace.

    I've had three days in a row of brown spotting. First day was dark brown and had some small clots. Next two days it was lighter brown and cloudy/milky. I don't know what to make of it all. I wish you so much luck! Fingers crossed for all of us who are spotting that it is nothing serious.

    I had some bright red blood, went to ER and everything was fine. Saw heartbeats, closed cervix, etc

    I also experienced more like medium flow bright red blood. I guess it's called spotting if it doesn't soak a pad, but it was scary to have it happen on Friday and Saturday. Saw Dr. today and fortunately the U/S looked good.
