WAYDTGKU: pnv and hio when I see EWCM. No temping or opk this cycle.

R/R: we had a great day yesterday! The winery we went to was our favorite local place so far! The tasting was $10 and it included 10 different wines, so it was reasonable too! We ended up buying two bottles.  :)

eta: and I went shopping for a few things for our upcoming vacation and got 2 dresses, 2 tank tops, and a pair of sandals for under $70!

R/R: I have decided not to post regularly in the daily threads because it's nearly impossible for me to get back and reply, but I wanted to today because I knew y'all would want to know that DH rallied and we were successful in HIO the past two days!

CS/Q: no temp spike, yet. FX that I'll see it tomorrow.

GTKY: Food and probably pets (vet bills, food, litter, toys, etc). Have I mentioned we have 2 dogs and 4 cats??

  • @WillRunForWine21 I love that stuff too, unfortunately I can't justify it - but oh well :)
@BertieMeetsGertie nice haul for under $70! I'm a total bargain shopper so when you get those type of deals it feels like you successfully completed the mission lol
@morado23 high five on the hio sessions!

GTKY: What do you spend most of your money on? (Besides mortgage/rent)

Definitely pets. Showing dogs and entering them in hunt tests is an expensive but super fun hobby!
  • Month/Cycle: 2/2 (post 6 months an-o)

    CD: 8

WAYDTGKU: PNVs, extra folic acid, OPKs, Monitoring CM, OPKs, Whole pineapple after O, possibly preseed.

R/R: Went to the casino last night on a whim with some friends. Normally it’s a lot of fun but one of DH’s friends got ridiculously drunk and him and his fiance got into a pretty bad fight. She told me she was going to call off the wedding. I’m sure that won’t happen but it makes me nervous cause one of our other “couple friends” got divorced last year and now we never see either one of them anymore. Anyway, didn’t get home til 3 am which is WAY past my bedtime so I’m super groggy today and don’t think I will move from this spot on the couch much.

    CS/Q: Nah.

GTKY: What do you spend most of your money on? (Besides mortgage/rent) Probably car payments. We still owe for both my car and DH’s truck.

@willrunforwine21- Sounds like a fun night! Glad you liked the movie.

@bertiemeetsgertie- Sounds like you had a fun day! I love wine tastings!

@morado23- Yay! Glad you got some successful HIO in! Now Fx for temp spike.

@sailing_mama- I agree that giving up wine is going to be difficult when KTFU.

All this wine talk is making me wonder if it’s acceptable to drink wine at noon on Sunday…

R/R: Finishing taxes today because I have an appointment with the accountant tomorrow. I hate tax season!

    CS/Q: Nope

GTKY: What do you spend most of your money on? (Besides mortgage/rent) For me it would be food. For DH it would be clothes and shoes. Shouldn’t it be the opposite?!

@willrunforwine21 – I wanted to go to Beauty and The Beast this weekend but everything was sold out here (our theater has those loungers so only like 70 tickets per showing. I love them though, will never go back to the regular seats!)

@bertiemeetsgertie – sounds like such a good day!

@morado23 – yay for being about to HIO! FX for temp spike soon!

@sailing_mama – jealous of your DH being a cook! I wish it wasn’t my responsibility to do the cooking because I’m lazy.

@cdnrunning – that’s really cool that you show dogs!

  • @WillRunForWine21i agree about Beauty & the Beast!  And your cousin's party sounds awesome!!

@BertieMeetsGertie that's a great deal for the wine tasting & clothes too!!

@LaurenEG14 so sorry about last night. And it's totally acceptable to drink wine at noon on a Sunday!  At least in my book!

    WAYDTGKU: benched

R/R: **TW** dr messaged me today to say that my hcg was 15 on Friday and to take HPTs this week and if it's negative to consider it 0. So that should be tomorrow. Also, got a new Mabis thermometer and tried it out with 2 other thermometers yesterday.  The one I had been using before the ectopic too 1 min 17 sec and my temp was 97.76.  The one I just got yesterday took 22 seconds and my temp was 97.4 and the one I had from a while ago took 37 seconds and my temp was 98.04.  I know that as long as I use one consistently, I'm just looking for a shift, but I still feel like that's a big range.

    CS/Q:

GTKY: What do you spend most of your money on? (Besides mortgage/rent) either running stuff (whoever said running is a cheap sport is wrong--shoes, clothes, fuel, recovery, watches, and races!) or food--I'm a foodie & love going out to eat.

  • @WillRunForWine21  open bar sounds like it was on point!

@BertieMeetsGertie  ohhh wine tasting sounds fun! And high five on your shopping trip!

@morado23  happy you were able to get in some good timing!

@Sailing_Mama  yum now I want cake!!

@cdnrunning  hangovers are zero fun but I'm glad last night was a good time!

@LaurenEG14 yikes, hopefully it was just a heat of the moment comment.

@justkeepswimming8 thanks for the reminder that I need to do my taxes. I swear I've been telling myself every other day that I need to just get them done

    Month/Cycle: 9/10

WAYDTGKU: nothing at this damn point.

R/R   FF took away my dotted CH this morning. I'm annoyed and bitter and all the things that go along with what looks to be a wasted month unless somehow a miracle happened and my temp and OPKs had no idea that I ovulated and somehow we had great timing? I'll keep telling myself that happened.

    CS/Q:

GTKY: What do you spend most of your money on? (Besides mortgage/rent)  Probably food. It's all meal prepped stuff so not so much eating out.
  • Month/Cycle: 7/7

WAYDTGKU: I'm still undecided but regardless I will be taking vits and having sex

R/R: My period is nearly over which is weird because I have NEVER had a 4 day period in my life. Usually 6-7 days. In a couple of hours we are going DFs patentable for his Mothers birthday supper. They are nice people but I really, really don't like doing the family gathering stuff. I'm happy at home with my things and surroundings. They have a TON of family gatherings and personally I think it's stupid.

    CS/Q:

GTKY: What do you spend most of your money on? (Besides mortgage/rent) Hmm probably with @BertieMeetsGertie on this one with food besides that a shit ton on debt. We are living with 50$ a week of spending money until we get a good chunk of this paid off. We thought we would really find it tough because before it was a free for all but we are actuallly enjoying watching the debt go down.

@BertieMeetsGertie A weekend of shopping and wine tasting sounds amazing! You can't beat that price for a great tasting!
@morado23 Fx for that temp spike!
@Sailing_Mama Glad your cake turned out well. I think wine with meals will be one of the hardest things for me to give up, too.
@LaurenEG14 That's so awkward when you get caught in someone's public fight. Sorry that happened!
@purplg8r I've compared thermometers before, and it freaked me out a little, too. I've always been able to catch my shift just fine, but it is unnerving to see such a range.
@50Wife FF gave me dotted CH and then took them away about a week and a half ago. It was so frustrating. Fake outs like that are the worst! I'm also hoping for a miracle, and praying that I O soon for real, but my hopes aren't too high. Fx you get that temp shift!

@BertieMeetsGertie $10 for 10 tastings is very good! Glad you had fun and got some shopping done. Sounds like a great weekend.
@morado23 That's great you got some good timing.
@Sailing_Mama OMG having a chef DH would be soooo hard to not gain weight and drink all the wine.
@cdnrunning Have any of your dogs won before? Are they just yours or do you show other people's dogs?
@LaurenEG14 That's really awkward. I hope your friends worked it out.
@justkeepswimming01 Your GTKY made me laugh.
@purplg8r Sounds like things are moving in the right direction. Are you still benched this cycle or back in the TTC game? Any update on the cyst?
@50Wife Can you post your chart? You might get your CH back if your temp goes back up tomorrow.
@FLAshley Hurray for paying down debt!
@Cricket648 IMHO travel is one of the best uses of disposable income. :)

  • @starla-2 I'm benched for TTC until May 24th (hopefully. My dr said 3 months from the shot. Gonna verify that tomorrow at the follow up). Gonna ask tomorrow how long I'm benched on even having protected sex tomorrow due to the cyst.  I'm realllllly hoping it's not going to be 4 more weeks.  And ugh--grading tests.
  • @starla-2 do you usually produce ewcm ahead of O? The temp spike definitely looks promising even in the absence of ewcm though.

We have won, nothing at the ranks of Best in Show though. For the hunt tests, the dogs are graded for their performance and are not ranked with the other dogs. It's a pass/fail type thing. I've shown my dogs a bit but I usually leave it to the professionals so I don't embarrass myself :)

Yes, I usually have EWCM or at least watery. What I've had is more creamy, but it's hard to tell. My OPKs have been negative. I usually start doing them twice a day once I get closer to O. I didn't think I was getting close yet due to lack of fertile CM, but I suppose it is possible that I had a really short surge and missed it. I have no idea. :(

    That's awesome!

  • @starla-2 one step ahead of you girl, right before I came back on here I put in a high temp for tomorrow and the dotted CH are back  ;)

Here's my chart.  Again, the CH are because of tomorrow's fake high temp. Although even if I put a low temp in tomorrow, it keeps the dotted CH so who knows. The CH coming back though gives me more hope than I've had for this month though.

  • *lurking from TWW*
@starla-2 horizontal mambo! I'm dying bahahahaha oh man.
@50Wife sorry your cycle is being an ass. You should give those ovaries a stern talking to!
@purplg8r I think you're overthinking the thermometer choice lol in the hospital we use a temporal that takes less than 5 seconds and don't think twice about the result lol. It will all be okay.
@Sailing_Mama glad you're on the right track for your cake, your DH is going to be so happy!

  • @starla-2 yea?? Ok thanks! I feel better. As I was posting it I was like ugh I look like a crazy lady complaining. I think this TTC shit is just getting to me this month and not having the straight forward things I typically have each month regarding O just set me over the edge.
Thanks for taking a look :)
  • @kvacmak oh yeah, I'm not worried about it since I'm just looking for a shift but found it strange that there was such a variance. (If a kid was sick, I wouldn't really think much of a 99.9 temp but would at 100.5)
