i think my period should be soon and I saw a faint line on the last three opks I took .. is this normal ?? I had the mirena iud removed march 1. My period was due march 2 and I don't know if I even had it. I had a pregnancy test march 4 and it was negative. Infelt like I ovulated march 16 which woulda been totally normal. But this weekend I had opks that look almost positive

QFP minus the thing you peed on. Please remove the picture. We don't want to see it. If someone offers, you can PM them.
@hopeful99 As @LoveInDC said, remove pictures of things you've peed on. Also, those are absolutely negative OPKs. Mine don't get quite as dark as the control line, but close. Some people can't turn a +OPK. If you think you're pregnant, take another pregnancy test or wait for AF to arrive.

FWIW: - You're regular until you aren't. - Irregularity just coming off of BC is totally normal. - Everyone turns opks differently (some not at all, some only consider it positive when the test is darker than the control etc.) - If you're not sure, POAS. - No one can tell you what's going on in your uterus. This is the internet, not a forum of wizards with x-ray goggles.

You took a pregnancy test 3 days after removing an IUD? And you say you HAD a pregnancy test - did your doctor give it to you? Or you took an at home test? Either way, seems like it could do you a world of good to read the pinned newbie thread here and lurk this thread.. There's a wealth of knowledge and community here.
You can't get pregnant 4 days after a period or removal of an IUD (and you definitely wouldn't turn a hpt at that point in your cycle). And those OPK tests are negative. You need the lines to be equal or the test line darker than the control.
I had a blood one done. Since I didn't get period. Ok good my question was at I'm either pregnant or about to ovulate .. maybe neither if both r negative
Definitely take some time to get to learn more about charting your cycles and allow your body to regulate itself after the removal of the IUD.

Yes. Those are your 3 options. (A) pregnant (B) ovulating (C) none of the above.
But I echo @TravelingCouple. Why take an OPK if you think you're pregnant and not an HPT? Why do a blood test 3 days after removing an IUD? So much of this is so wrong. Please read the Newbie Guide and learn how your body works.
PS - Please please please remove that gross picture. It's against the TOU to post it as is asking us if you're pregnant. Things you would know if you read the Newbie Guide.
Okay. Definitely take some time lurking and reading the newbie guide to get a feel for the community here. It's awesome and knowledgeable, but there are definitely enforced guidelines (posted at top of page) and etiquette that must be followed. As the other ladies have said, we do not try to make predictions for each other about the status of our uteruses or post pee sticks on the board.
That said, it can be confusing coming off of Mirena. I had my second Mirena removed in December and it took 6.5 weeks before I had a real period/not just spotting. After that, my cycles started to get more regular, though they've been getting a little shorter each month since then (36 days, 34 days, and what looks like it'll be about 30 days this month). When you do have your first period, you'll know. Give it time because it can take a while -- anything after 60 days should prompt you to call your doctor. Before then, I suggest you read Taking Charge of Your Fertility - it's an easy read and full of lots of information, and it helped me feel like I was making progress even though I was waiting for my period for several weeks.
Once you get your period and start using OPKs again, you'll know when you get a positive. They are just about as dark and solid as the control line.

I'm just so confused by this entire thread. You don't know if you got your period. You didn't get it within a whole 3 days of getting your IUD removed, so you took a test.... for whatever reason... Yet you somehow know when you should ovulate? ETA: Also, you just got the Mirena put in last month and now you've had it taken out again? Wuuut?
All you need to know is the following: For your body: You're coming off of BC and your body is still adjusting. You may not even ovulate before getting your period. If you go 60 days after removal without a period and no positive test, then call your OBGYN to get your cycle started. For this forum: Read the pinned newbie guide (that obvious one that says "Read This First"), lurk some more, and try introducing yourself to the community before you even consider sharing something you peed on (and please never do so again, it's against the rules of the board).
