Appointments this week? Tuesday, the start of the every 2 weeks appointments...
Cravings? All the hard candy.
Symptoms? Nothing really new. I felt baby kick on the left side of my belly, which I haven't yet, so that was kind of cool
Rants/Raves/Questions? I really wish H would get to cleaning stuff, instead of playing video games all the time. I know it's just going to lead to me doing the bulk of the work and having to make a bunch of decisions that he is fully capable of.

GTKY- What goes into the naming process for you and your SO? Books, online, family trees? We bought one book, flipped through it for a while, and came up with our own names. There were a couple names that we've always been fond of, so those are on our list too. We wanted family related names for the middle names, but I'm not sure that is going to happen. I had made the decision that we would be going in with more than one name for each gender, so we have 5 girl and 5 boy names picked out.
How big is baby? basketball hoop / butternut squash
Appointments this week? Nope...had one on Thursday
Cravings? Nothing really
Symptoms? Peeing a lot at night--I think he has definitely moved down a lot this week
Rants/Raves/Questions? Running out of shirts that are long enough/comfy and don't really want to buy more at this point...so I have started snatching from hubbys side of the closet

Ugh...my husband is a III and since we started dating has always said he wants a IV if he ever has a boy. I truly thought I was destined for all girls so never gave it much thought. I really have mixed feelings about it. I hate the idea of continuing it (we are not royalty, famous inventors, etc) but understand why it's important to him. I keep telling him nothing's official until we sign the birth certificate
How big is baby? Foam finger
Appointments this week? Regular check up on Friday
Cravings? All food still.
Symptoms? Heartburn, backache, peeing more, holy $hit I was emotional this week, exhaustion
Rants/Raves/Questions? My shower is next Sunday, which is insanity to me. It feels like the second half of this pregnancy has flown by.

GTKY- What goes into the naming process for you and your SO? Books, online, family trees? Over the past two years or so I've just written down names I've liked. Once we had the anatomy scan we talked about them and made a choice. I had more "say " because it was a girl. For a boy it was likely going to be a family name. My husband's grandfathers name was his fathers middle name, and then his name is his grandfathers first and fathers first as his second. We thought of doing his fathers name again. Did that make sense? So for example: grandpa was Jon. Father is Michael Jon. Husband is Jon Michael. Future son would be Michael Jon. Those are obviously not the real names.
How big is baby? A pineapple or a backpack

Cravings? Sweets; milk shakes and gummy candies
Symptoms? Right rib pain, insomnia, peeing all the time, so much discharge recently, outer hip pain; holy moly is that real!
Rants/Raves/Questions? It's my spring break this week. All the baby's things are washed and put away and the room is basically put together except wall decor. Holy shit is what I think when I look in there!
on Tuesday H and I booked 3 nights at nice hotel with a nice pool in Dubai. So looking forward to it

we agreed instantly on a girls name.
Boys name is still up in the air. I don't want an overly Arab/Muslim sounding name because of possible judgement when he's older. We also have to consider the sounds not in Arabic and the sounds not in English. (So no kh, ah, v, p, x)
we have agreed to limit the middle name to just his name where traditionally it's first name, father, grandfather, sometimes great grandfather, last name.
@m3ganmc my mom was convinced I was a boy and my father is a third. He was adamant that I would not be and my mom was set on it. They had agreed to use his first name but a different middle so I wouldn't have been a fourth. Have you broached that with your h?
@jens_hoes I feel like my first half FLEW and my second half has just dragged. Now I feel like days just creep by. Enjoy your shower next week!

Rants/Raves/Questions? NPR but DH finally decided to get his GED and since he passed his first two pretests he'll be taking the first half of the real test on Thursday. I'm so nervous for him, but excited that he's doing this for himself.

GTKY- What goes into the naming process for you and your SO? Books, online, family trees? With DD I always liked her name and she has the girls' family name as her middle...for this LO, DH and I had some names in mind but couldn't agree overall and then DH heard a name he liked so we have his first name ready and are playing with the middle. I find that looking at long lists just makes me realize how many names I dislike.
How big is baby? apparently 2 different types of hats or squash
Appointments this week? no, April 3
Cravings? still French fries and I guess sweets? But usually nothing in particular
Symptoms? normal stuff, hip/pelvic discomfort, being imcomfortable in general, and exhausted
Rants/Raves/Questions? H kept looking at me, well really staring and smiling, and I wa alike what are you looking at? Lol your bump...you look so cute.
You'd think the a/c in the apartment you're moving into would work...ugh what the heck?!

If we were having a girl, family names are used, either for first or middle or both. We were going to use H's grandma's name and I think either a random name we liked or my mom's middle name modified lol since we are having a boy, H had a name he's loved forever, thinks he read it in a book or it could have something to do with Star Trek (Tyberius). Anyway, that's the middle name because I couldn't get behind it as a first, but didn't want to take that away from H. It's caused some drama with his mom but whatever. Still working in the first and I've just looked at lists online, names in books or shows that I like, and what not. Down to 2 and I'm thinking we'll decide one th wlittle guy is hear, especially since we are opposite lol

@sarah0985 I have offered to keep middle name but nope he wants the whole monty. I got to choose our daughters name and we kind of made a deal that he got dibs on the boy name. Silly silly me...

Symptoms? Hip/Pelvic pain. Trouble sleeping. So exhausted! Can barely keep my eyes open at times.
Rants/Raves/Questions? Can't believe I'm already in my 8th month. Anxiously waiting to find out when our surgery is. Because of partial Previa and a previous surgery, we could be looking at a 36 or 37-week delivery. Doing my best to be patient.

H picked our boys name. It was based on pop culture and people he admired. Our girl's name is actually the name of a good friend's daughter. Her daughter is in her 20s so no chance of the two hanging out. The name just felt right.

Symptoms? All the usual, hip/ back pain, trouble sleeping and getting comfortable.

Symptoms? heartburn. Lots of kicking. The joints seem to be miraculously doing better
