On Friday I went to the restroom and noticed blood when I wiped. It was similar to the first day of my period. Needless to say I freaked. Called the Doctor. They rushed me in for an u/s. Got the u/s, doctor said they couldn't detect anything but that could be because it was too early (just shy of 6 weeks) or there was nothing there to detect. So had blood drawn as well to check my hcg levels. Had some random spotting over the weekend but nothing too major so there was still hope! Went in today to have more blood drawn so they could compare numbers, but all today I had pretty bad spotting. Then this afternoon, I am pretty sure I have my "period". I am absolutely devistated. I was so sure that there was still a chance that I was ok, but I really don't think this much blood is normal. I will find out for sure tomorrow based on my hcg levels, but I am not optimistic.
Don't mean to be a downer on the boards today, but I just want to wish all of you very happy and healthy pregnancies. I hope I can rejoin your ranks soon.
Re: Pretty sure I am miscarrying
So sorry for your loss, I know how hard it is. I'm sure you'll be back here before you know it... hang in there.

I'm so sorry you're going through. I obviously don't know how much bleeding you're having but don't give up hope yet. I started bleeding a few weeks ago, gushing red blood. I had to wear a pad for a couple of days. It wasn't like a full on period but it ended up on the pad and it would come out when I was going to the bathroom. I too thought it was too much blood to be "normal."
But, I was diagnosed with a subchorionic bleed and so far everything is ok. I don't want to give you false hope or try to tell you what's going on but I do want to say that bleeding doesn't always mean it's the end. Hang in there. And I'll be praying for you. Take care!
Don't give up just yet. I know there are a few third tri girls that had significant bleeding and went on to have a successful pregnancy.
You will be in my prayers!
Im so sorry. I know how hard miscarriages can be. I had on in October at 6 weeks. Its the saddest thing ever. Just take care of yourself and hopefully you'll be back here soon
Ill be praying for you.
