How big is baby?
An eggplant. And it certainly feels like there's something as big as an eggplant in there.
Upcoming appointments this week?
I had my 28 week check up and follow up ultrasound yesterday.
Any new symptoms or changes?
Just really tired all of the time. And more pelvic/vag soreness. Oh and I can't sleep at all.

We had a follow up ultrasound to check on fluid in the baby's brain and it's completely gone! I feel like finally, at 28 weeks, I can breathe a sigh of relief haha. And then I'll find something else to fixate on.
We settled on a new house last Friday and man I forgot how exhausting moving is. We are basically un-wallpapering and painting every room. And putting up some new walls and changing all the floors. We are also back and forth to our old house moving out of/cleaning there while unpacking/cleaning at the new house. It is SO exhausting to have to do that every day after work/all weekend.
GTKY: Do you have a favorite charity? And why is it important to you?
I regularly give to the ASPCA. I've gotten both of my dogs there and wish I could adopt ten more.
How big is baby? Fennec fox, minus the tail (when I told my mom this, she looked up a photo and replied "I hope minus the ears as well")
Upcoming appointments this week? Nothing until my Rhogam debacle / regular check-up next Thursday
Any new symptoms or changes? Just a LOT more pressure / discomfort when walking, thanks to this baby's (smart) decision to flip over and out of being transverse/breech
Rants/Raves/Questions? This is more of a rhetorical question - but if people look at me and wonder how I still have three months left, just how am I going to look right before this baby comes? (Hmm. Just looked at pics of myself the day my water broke with DD. I may have answered my own question.)
GTKY: Do you have a favorite charity? And why is it important to you? I don't have a favorite - I do support my grade school (went pre-k through 12) and college regularly, as I feel quite strongly that my experiences there shaped who I am (and both are private, so I want to enable others to have the experience too - and financial aid is always a big issue.)

Upcoming appointments this week?
Had my 28wk appts last week...all looking good. Baby's measuring around 3lbs already (60th %ile) and I'm certainly feeling it!
Any new symptoms or changes?
Continual heartburn and I've really had to adjust my diet to eating small, frequent meals/snacks b/c even meds aren't fixing the burn. Otherwise, lots of kicks, which is really nice to feel.

1.5 weeks until my board exam and I can't wait until it's over! I've been ignoring the rest of life while I study. Of course, I have a 10 page to do list full of all the work and around the house things that I have to get done once it's over, hahahaha.
GTKY: Do you have a favorite charity? And why is it important to you?
We donate mostly to local Jewish organizations...probably out of guilt for not being more observant. I also donate clothes and toys to Salvation Army 4-5x/year.

Upcoming appointments this week? I just had one on Tuesday- going to every 2 weeks!
Any new symptoms or changes? I feel like I've doubled in size this week- definitely starting the waddle and rocking to get off the couch.
Rants/Raves/Questions? I need to RANT that my OB is ALWAYS at least 45 minutes behind. I think I've ranted about this before but omg.
GTKY: Do you have a favorite charity? And why is it important to you? We usually donate to the local Houston Children's hospital, or to St. Judes.

Any new symptoms or changes? crazy movements like dragging elbows or feet and can feel it on the outside. I actually feel really good still and are still sleeping decent

GTKY: Do you have a favorite charity? And why is it important to you? current favorite is Carry The Future. They provide baby carriers and products to refugees in temporary camps moving place to place. I cannot imagine fleeing my home literally only carrying my child in my arms and then litrally walk across the country. It makes me so sad that these children and parenrs are put in these positikns simply bc of where they were born.

She is as long as a Barbie Corvette and has been cruising all around in there.

3 hours GTT tomorrow, OB appointment, and an US to see why I'm
measuring big.

worsening sciatica and lots of new stretch marks

I support my local chapter of Pets for Vets. They train shelter dogs to be service animals for vets! Win win!

Great question! I love that my church takes up pocket change for Mobile Meals each Sunday. They do a lot of good for elderly locals and it's such a well run organization.
I didn't get any real conclusive answers on measuring ahead. Her overall weight and size is on the higher end of normal at the 60th percentile, but apparently her HEAD is in the 90TH PERCENTILE!
