Just had a crazy 24 hours!
Wednesday evening I ate dinner and it immediately went through me. Didn't eat anything else and just drank water. Felt a little warm so went to bed early.
Woke up 2am in a cold sweat and muscle aches. Thoughtit might be the flu so I went to doc but tested negative for flu. Backhoe to rest and take Tylenol for fever.
Started feeling better (jinxed myself!) but then things took a nosedive. Started vomiting every 10 minutes. I kept trying to rehydrate but everything I drank came right back up. Tried not drinking in order to stop vomiting but was still vomiting / dry heaving.
Off to the hospital we went. Puked in a plastic bag in the car (DH has now officially seen me at my worst!), got into ER and they gave me IV anti-nausea meds and tons of fluid. Tried to get a fetal heartbeat using a dopplar machine but couldn't - they were not concerned since I am still only 10 weeks.
In the end, they still have no idea what caused this but they treated the symptoms so I am feeling better.
Baby #2 is already a troublemaker! lol!
Re: crazy 24 hours!
I had to go to the hospital twice for IV fluids from vomiting with this pregnancy and I feel certain that DH has now seen me at my worst also. Hey, in sickness and in health, huh?

Thanks ladies! Finally able to keep some food down so I'm feeling a bit better! And OB was able to get a heartbeat the next day!
