I will probably throw a size 0-3 month sleeper juuuuuuuuuuust in case. But I highly doubt I will need it. It was weeks before DD fit into 0-3 at all. Honestly, NB was actually pretty roomy on her for a few weeks.

This is the route I'm taking. DS was in NB for 6 weeks. And my weight gain is pretty minimal so I doubt I'll have a much bigger baby than what DS was.
I'm bringing both as well.. my daughter was 8 lb 2 but went home in a 0-3 outfit.. We didn't pack a NB as my family has big babies ( niece was 10lb 8 oz, another 10lb 6, nephew was 9lb 10) so I just assumed I was going to birth a toddler.. It was a little roomy but not a big deal.. I have a couple outfits in NB washed and will wait until the baby is here to see if I wash or exchange the rest.
My babies were 8lb3oz and 8lb4oz so far and this one seems on track to be in the 8lb range so I'm just bringing nb. Both my girls were in nb for about 3 wks and 0-3 was too big.
If my my husband and I had both been 10lb babies though I'd bring both sizes just in case.
Now that I've had my shower and gone through everything, these are my options, unless I find something cuter NB hand me down onesie that DS wore home from the hospital
0-3 month new onesie to go with the elephant theme
These outfits are so precious! Is is bad I kind of want to use the same one my first daughter came home in? She will already mostly be wearing her sister's clothes.

That's my biggest decision. I actually think it would be cute to have that tradition/comparison of them coming home in the same outfit.
@kirstinh88 & @jennielynn+ I am pretty sure that the new baby will be coming home in the same outfit that DS came home in.
I am not sure what to do about photos at the hospital though. DS wore a cute knit hat, but it seems too wintery (he was a November baby) for an April baby.
If this babe were a boy, he'd be coming home in the same outfit that DS did (or, the full outfit that he was supposed to come home in, since it was hot as all get out then).
For the hospital photos, we just did the white shirts that they had there. That, with him being posed on white blankets, just looked super serene in the photos that we got. I got a pack of kimono tops for this LO that have whites and light colors, and I'll probably toss one of those in there in case I want it. And a bow. Because girls.
My going home outfit is 0-3 month size because DS was almost 10 pounds, but I'm going to toss in a NB sleeper as a backup in case she's tiny (which I'm starting to wonder if she is due to my lack of weight gain). If she doesn't fit in that outfit for leaving the hospital, I'll save it for when we do photos later on (FIL is a semi-professional photographer and will be visiting us when LO is about 4 weeks old).
OH my, all those outfits are sooo cute! I currently have 2 NB sleep n plays packed. But i want to get one more in 0-3 months size just in case. My boy currently measures at around 5 lbs. i'm just over 36 weeks, even though technically i'm measuring about 5 days ahead so he's probably more like 37 weeks. MY OB told me that she thinks i'll be 2 more weeks at the most and he should be about 7lbs or so. So NB size should be just fine, but I'd rather be prepared. I looked at those outfits and onesies yesterday and thought to myself. "are they really THAT tiny?? lol" I forget how little they really are
