SPOTTING AT 10 WEEKS. HELP!

I am going on 10 weeks pregnant and this morning I had some spotting. It was a darker light blood but I still am freaking out a bit. Is this normal? Has anyone else experienced this? I have contacted my midwife and am hoping to squeeze in today just to ease my mind. Any suggestions?

    Spotting can be normal but was so scary when it was happening to me. I'm so sorry! Praying for good news for you today. ♡

    It's always best to report spotting to your Dr/midwife, but it doesn't mean doom and gloom. I started bleeding quite a bit at 6 weeks and it turned out to be a larger subchorionic hematoma. Bleeding stopped after 3 days. I'll be 11 weeks tomorrow and at my appt yesterday, it shrank considerably so my body is reabsorbing it. Baby is doing great. Also, if you had sex recently, that can cause spotting as there is increased blood flow to that region.

    All the best to you and I hope you get some answers! In the meantime, take it easy and drink lots of water!

    I spotted once with my last pregnancy, called my doctor's office, they squeezed me in and all was totally normal. Definitely try to get in to see someone today and try to relax. It can be very normal <3 
    BFP#1: 12/3/13 EDD 8/15/13. Heartbeat found on 12/26/13, HB gone on 1/4/13. D&C 1/7/13
    BFP#2: 4/19/13 EDD 12/28/13. Team Green for pregnancy and Baby Girl arrived 12/21/13.
    BFP#3: 2/9/13 EDD 10/18/17. Team Green for Round 2!

    Spotting is completely normal. Usually nothing to worry about if it looks brownish. If it's bright red and starts to fill a pad then you need to see a doctor. I hope everything is ok. Check the symptoms post too. Lots of women experience this.
