Yes I'm sure it was SO condescending of me to say of MYSELF that I wasn't getting up early or staying up late for DH.... Slightly off-topic story: When we were newlyweds, DH and I visited a church a few times where the preacher managed to work into his sermon every week something about a wife's sexual duties to her husband- how she shouldn't say no to him when she know's he's stressed and a release would help him unwind, how a wife should please her husband as many times weekly/daily as he needs to "stay pure," how if a man sins by looking at porn the wife is partially responsible because she didn't fulfill her duties. We went back one more time, and his wife was out of town- sure enough, he didn't say a word about sex. It was all very uncomfortable, and we obviously didn't go back again, but we joked that we knew waaaaaay too much about what he and his wife argue about!

@DPandMB DH has said something similar when I asked him previously when we had some friends who were doing a sex every day challenge during lent last year.
I wish the infamous second tri sex drive kicked in. We've done the deed a couple times lately and when we do it feels way more intense. I hope it kicks in soon because I'm scared once I get to the I'm too big to get off the couch by myself phase we both won't be wanting to do it.

What?! I feel like that makes it worse. I'm pretty religious and I'm all for doing things (i.e. Praying or reading the Bible) together as a couple, but I can't say that would put me in the mood. Like "praise be" now let's do it. Weird.

@HollyGolightly09 I had a priest tell us in youth group that oral sex didn't count as sex. I believed him.
We had to read several books about married life and sex as part of our pre-marital counseling, and one of them said that oral sex was wrong. Their reasoning basically came down to "woman like oral sex so much many prefer it over a penis, and there's no way that can be ok."
So I'd like to say that my day count has restarted...... also I asked DH what he thought about 2-3 times a day and he said it sounds good in theory but it's way too much for him lol. He said 2-3 times a week is enough for him. He originally thought I was asking if he wanted to have sex 2-3 times a day and I was like whoa no do you want to buy me a wheelchair? And he said oh okay good I thought you were asking if I wanted that. And then we did it. And DS is still napping soundly in his crib. And I got a shower. It has been a good day.
I texted SO about the fact that we haven't had sex in days and his response was, "Well then... let's do it!!" Followed by "I've just been so friggin tired lately." Now I don't feel AS guilty lol. I told him I feel like a bad girlfriend and he said not to feel bad and that we've been so busy. . .
